Bevel not reading any apple Health stats
amokeley
I’ve given Bevel full access to the health app as I’ve just downloaded it, but it seems that it can’t pick up on the health data. No sources show up in app. I wear my watch all the time so that can’t be the problem, and this data exists in my health.

Historical data not syncing
J

Hello- curious if anyone else is experiencing this issue or it's just me.
It seems that even after clearing cache, deleting/reinstalling the App and re-allowing permissions, my workout/health data is not syncing to Bevel beyond April/May 2023 when l've been wearing an Apple Watch for years.
I still had an active Gentler Streak and Athlytic subscription but after finding Bevel, I stopped using those apps. However, I redownloaded them just to see if they would pull in all the history and they did.
Here are two screenshots, one from Bevel and one from Gentler Streak comparing 2023 to 2024. The gray line in the bevel screenshot stops in May 2023 where as GS shows the whole year. Also interestingly, GS is showing 81 hours of activity duration vs.
Bevel showing 77 hours.
Dev- any thoughts or is this a bug possibly?

Activities-Data missing since 6/2023
wir3 H.
All activity data has been in Apple Health since 2015. All reading and writing techniques were granted bevel. Cache has been emptied, the app has been restarted, reinstalled. Despite everything, only activities since 6-2023 are displayed.

Bevel won't connect HealthKit
Danyelle McBroom
It says "unable to load data sources. We couldn't fetch your data sources from HealthKit." I've restarted both the app and the phone and still nothing. The app stopped updating on Monday, 9/23 and I dont know why.

HRV data collected on Apple health but still not showing. Watch was worn last night. HRV has shown for all days I’ve been using Bevel. My sleep was recorded.

Hi Craig Catanese, Can you please send a screenshot of your Calculation settings in Bevel?
Go to Bevel -> Profile -> Customization -> Calculation. Screenshot this view for me

Craig Catanese: Hi can you scroll down on that Apple Health HRV data -> tap on "Show all data" -> tap on today's raw data -> Screenshot a good chunk of HRV recordings during your sleep period?
Also please send a screenshot of your Sleep Stages chart of your last night's sleep so we can match and see if you have enough HRV data during your sleep. You can go to Apple Health or Bevel -> Sleep -> Primary Sleep -> screenshot the chart for me

To turn Afid on it’s asking ignore ever been diagnosed with afib which I have not been
Randell
Craig Catanese: I see the reason why you don't have any HRV data for today.
From your screenshot, there were no HRV data recorded during your sleep or falls within your sleep period.
The last recorded HRV data on October 16th was 8:33 PM and on the 17th the only recorded HRV data was at 8:16 AM.
Can you try again tonight? But this time, please try to make sure that you do the following:
- Ensure that you don't have low-power mode on your Watch. Try to charge up your watch before going to bed or at least have a good amount of battery % left.
- Wear your Apple Watch comfortably tight
- Enable AFiB History. While not required, it is recommended that you turn on AFib History on your Apple Watch so it can record more heart rate samples during sleep.
You can select Yes and then tap Continue for the AFib History to be turned On.
I will wait for your update tomorrow.

I will update you tomorrow. I have a new elastic watch band that should keep the watch more secure than the silicone band and I’ll double check make sure low battery is not on. I usually charge battery right before bed so it’s good to go overnight.

Craig Catanese: Thanks, I will wait for your update tomorrow.
