Bug Report — Nutrition Goals Inconsistency (Calories / Macros Mismatch)

Hi Development Team,
I’m reporting a data inconsistency bug in the Nutrition → Goals area of the app. The calorie total and macro breakdown shown on the Nutrition Goals card do not match the values displayed in the “Your Nutrition Goal” modal. This is causing confusion about the actual target values.
Summary
• The Nutrition Goals card shows different total calories and macro percentages/grams than the “Your Nutrition Goal” modal.
Observed behavior (screenshots attached)
• Nutrition → Goals card:
• Calories left: 5,315 kcal
• Fat/Carbs/Protein left: 201 g / 468 g / 409 g
• Macro % shown: Fat 51% / Carbs 31% / Protein 18%
• (screenshot: 130A2CE2-1263-435C-985E-22757E8E8E2B.jpeg)
• “Your Nutrition Goal” modal:
• Total goal: 5,655 kcal
• Fat: 220.2 g • 35%
• Carbs: 493.9 g • 35%
• Protein: 424.4 g • 30%
• TDEE shown as 2,110 kcal and goal = 3,545 kcal above maintenance

- Does this mismatch show up every day, or was it just a one-time issue?
• This issue is not just a one-time occurrence.
2.Do you see these numbers before adding any food, or only after logging meals?
• They appear after adding food.
- And can you confirm you’re on the latest App Store version (2.2.8)?
• Confirmed App Store version: 2.2.8 (2350)
• Device: iPhone 15 Pro
• iOS: 26.0.1
Markus
Sukanan Suppasiriroj: Could you please try to go through the goal-setting flow again manually and see if it fixes this mismatch?
Markus
Sukanan Suppasiriroj Hey! Just wanted to follow up to see if you’ve had a chance to review my last message.
No pressure — we just want to make sure everything’s working as expected. 😊
If we don’t hear back in the next 24 hours, we’ll close this ticket for now, but you can always reply later and it’ll reopen automatically.

It possible that my issue is different.
I understand that the Nutritonal Details card is not directly related to the goals. I simply expect it to display the macros logged so far on a specific day in g and %. As you can see from my screenshots, the % are not right: 15.7g fat and 13.2g protein surely cannot translate to 31% and 12% — unless I fundamentally misunderstand what the % represent…
Markus
@Alexander Fomin and Sukanan Suppasiriroj, just to clarify - are you referring to Nutritional Details card percentages? If so, this card has nothing to do with goals.

I have a similar issue where the macro percentages are wildly off compared to the raw grams data. I am on the latest version (2.2.8, build 2350) and I see this consistently wrong on a daily basis.

Alexander Fomin: Hi
Thanks for pointing that out! The macro percentages in the app are actually based on calories, not on grams.
Since fat has 9 kcal per gram and carbs/protein have 4 kcal per gram, the calorie percentages will look different from the raw gram values — but the calculation is correct.
Hope that clears it up!

Markus ah, I see! Now it makes sense, thank you!
