It looks like they are there for a millisecond but then they disappear.

Closing the Journal item and refreshing fixes the listing. So they are added but not visible.

Often, when going through the journal in the morning and evening, entries I already checked reset themselves few seconds later, so I need to check them again.

Grey Just had it happen again.
Added 1 caffeine and it instantly removed it again. In the overview it also was not added to the total.
Closing the caffeine pop-up en reopening dit not resolve it.
A pull down to refresh the journal updated the overview and then it was visible in the log of caffeine also.
