Hi Patrick Dollard, Conner D, Jeffrey Schut, Denys Malakhov, Mert, Tiago Rodrigues, Okey Buckeye, Philipp, Hey guys, we pushed out an improvement fix for this in regards to certain foods from logging hydration, caffeine, and alcohol to the Journal. Can you guys please update to the latest version and check? It should be version 2.1.6, thanks!
Patrick Dollard
Randell just tested with water and it’s working! I needed to update the “ingredients” (water) for a few of my favourites, but after that it’s been great! Will report back about alcohol.

Water tracker with in the nutrition section
Philipp
The daily water intake would be much better balanced in the nutrition tab. Ideally, the individual daily target amount would be explained there and you could quickly track water using the central plus symbol instead of doing it via the journal, which you ideally only want to do quickly once in the morning and evening. There is also a lot of food (including water itself!) , which do not automatically track the water in the journal. Thank you so much

Hi Philipp, we're currently working on resolving this issue. The diet should work as you described. I'll add this to an existing ticket for you.

Logged water not in journal
Okey Buckeye
The journal will log water data from a recipe but not a specific water entry. Ex. I had some pork chops with broccoli and rice I entered it as one entry and it added 102.7ml of water to the journal. Immediately after that entry I added 1000ml water of water by itself. No entry into the journal for the 1000ml.

Hi Okey Buckeye, Thanks for reporting! This is an issue we are currently working on a fix. We already have a ticket open for this, so I’ll go ahead and merge this to the existing ticket for you.

Log drinks like sodas, milk or coffee does not count for hydration.
Tiago Rodrigues
I expected that if you drink a soda, milk or any other type of beverage that it counts for your daily hydration, but even a glass or bottle of water in the Logs do not add to the apple health of hydration or daily goals.
It is strange that I need to use another app to log hydration if I can log water in Bevel, but then it does not get logged or tracked, neither on the app or on apple health.

Hi Tiago Rodrigues, This is how it's intended to work, but there are issues we're actively working to fix. We already have a ticket open for this, so I’ll go ahead and merge this to the existing ticket for you.
