Missing HR data during workout

My workout yesterday is missing HR data in Bevel. It seems to be a bug with the app, as Apple health shows seamless HR during the same workout. I wear both an Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 3 with HR sensor, so it would be very strange for there to be a gap in data (and there isn’t). I’ve deleted cache and reloaded all data to no avail.

Hi Colter Zimmer, juani, Can you guys please update to the latest version of the app which is 2.2.6, see if this is now fixed for you?
juani

Issue with new airpods HR tracking and syncing in workout

Right now it appears whenever your watch switched from native HR tracking to the airpods pro 3 HR tracking the bevel sees that as “loss of HR” so for some workouts especially runs I have large sections with no HR data while in the apple fitness app I have tracking for the whole run.

Randell I am having similar issues where when I am working out with the fitness part of the app my heart rate doesn't show up when using my apple watch, my airpod 3s or both. My Bevel app gets my heart rate in the app but just not in the modal at the bottom of the page.
Randell
Sam Wimmer: Hi Sam, can you please share a screenshot of this?
Also, can you go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Heart Rate, screenshot the view in there for me as well?

Sam Wimmer: I see. Can you go to Apple Health -> Heart Rate -> scroll down to the bottom, tap "Show all data" -> tap on today's log, then screenshot the view for me for the latest data?

Sam Wimmer: I see. Can you go to Apple Health -> Sharing -> App -> Bevel -> Tap the Turn OFF all -> Turn ON all. Once done, see if this solves it for you?

Randell I did this and it didn't resolve the issue. I also tried restarting bevel afterwards and it also didn't resolve it.
Randell
Sam Wimmer: Just to confirm here, when you started the workout on your phone, did you choose "iPhone only"?
S
Sam Wimmer
Randell I pressed iphone and apple watch then it started it on my apple watch
Randell
Sam Wimmer: Are you wearing your Apple Watch during the workout or just the AirPods?

Randell I am wearing both

Sam Wimmer: Can you actually go to Bevel watch app -> Gear Icon -> Baseline/iCloud, screenshot the view for me there?
Also, try tapping the "resync health". see if that helps.
And you are currently on Bevel 2.3.2, correct? to check this:
- Bevel watch app -> Gear Icon, scroll down to the bottom.
- Bevel phone app -> Profile, scroll down to the bottom.

Looks like it's a known bug and being addressed: https://www.reddit.com/r/bevelhealth/comments/1nzq0fb/hr_graph_bug_in_workout/

I’ve attached Apple Health HR measurements for 20:18, which is right in the middle of the gap shown in Bevel.

Hi Colter Zimmer, This is an issue that we are aware of and currently investigating.
Are you able to share a screenshot of your HR raw data in Apple Health for this? then the HR chart in Bevel for the workout?
Colter Zimmer
Randell Yes attached are both my apple health data and then the same workout data inside bevel thanks for looking into this.
