My "REM sleep" and "Deep sleep" are not showing

Noticed the other night that those two sleep phases were missing from my sleep analysis. Now that I check my historic date, I noticed it is gone from it too (it wasn't the case before). Apple watch's sleep app does recorded all phases of sleep, so apparently the Bevel app is not pulling the data from Apple Health correctly.

Is there a known issue where REM and DEEP stages are not recorded when sleeping at night?

My app isn’t pulling these values through even though my sleep app tracks them

Hi Anne Bailey, since we haven't heard back from you, I will close this ticket for now. Feel free to comment back in if you are still having this issue. Thanks!
Randell
Hi Anne Bailey, following up on this. Are you still experiencing this issue?

Same here. AWU2 are as the data source.
Randell
Robie CZ: Hi Robie, can you please send a screenshot of your Data Sources settings in Bevel? Go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Sleep. Screenshot this view for me.
Also, can you please go to Apple Health -> Sleep -> Scroll down to "Show all data" and screenshot the view for me?
are you using any other apps to track your sleep?

Randell
Sure!
Edit: I see the issue now. I have installed the Autosleep app…
Randell
Robie CZ I see. Were you able to configure this one? Do you intend to use Autosleep?
Can you scroll down on your Bevel Data Sources and see if you have a recent AW source that has an updated timestamp (today)? Can you send a screenshot again for me
Randell
Hi Anne Bailey, let me try and help you with this.
What app are you using to track your sleep?
Also can you please send a screenshot of the following:
Sleep Data in Apple Health. Go to Apple Health -> Sleep -> Scroll down to “Show all data” and screenshot this view for me
Data Sources in Bevel. Go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Sleep. Screenshot this view for me

Anne Bailey
Randell I use AutoSleep. Thank you!
Randell
Anne Bailey Thanks for the screenshot. As you can see, Auto Sleep doesn’t write sleep stages on your Apple Health Data, only the “In Bed” segment is written.
However, Apple Watch’s sleep stages (REM, Deep, etc) are present in your screenshot.
Can you please rearrange your sleep data sources and make your Apple Watch as the 1st data priority source and put your Auto Sleep to 2nd priority order.

Anne Bailey
Randell ok did that. Will it take some time to update? Still not showing but maybe I need to wait until tomorrow morning when there is new data?
Randell
Anne Bailey Can you try to pull to refresh or clear the cache and reload data for me on Bevel and see if it pulls in the Sleep data?
A
Anne Bailey
Randell still isn’t putting it in. Maybe I need to wait until there is fresh data to put in? Ie tomorrow?
Randell
Anne Bailey: Is it only missing the sleep data for that particular day? Can you please send a screenshot of your Sleep Trends again for me? Go to Bevel -> Sleep -> Scroll down to Trends. Screenshot this view for me.
Your Sleep stages data is already in Apple Health, Bevel should be able to pull it in the moment you rearranged the Sleep Data Sources on your Bevel settings (making your Apple Watch the first source with the recent timestamp)

Randell ok. It did not pull anything through this morning. Interestingly, it did pu through the 8/13 data but that appears to be the only data it brought along. I also sent a screenshot of the year values because you can see that inconsistently there has been info that has been incorporated. Is it one of those “Delete the app and reinstall type moments?” Wasn’t sure. Thanks for the help, I do like your app as it helps me so I’d love to use all the features completely!
Randell
Anne Bailey: Thanks for the update.
Can you try to hide your AutoSleep app in the Bevel Data Sources and see if there will be changes? And are you currently using IOS 18 beta?
Is your sleep schedule already over during this screenshot?
Also, can you please send your Sleep stages in Apple Health for this day again for me? the same with when you tap the "Show all data" in Apple Health Sleep.

Randell
Eddie Barajas I see, Thanks for the screenshot. Can you please try to reorganize the order by putting the one with the latest timestamp as your 1st priority source?
Apple Watch Ultra 2 - 7/25/24

Randell that did it! Thank you very much.
Randell
Eddie Barajas Glad it worked! Thanks for the update.
(By the order of Peaky Blinders) I will close this ticket now!

Hi Eddie Barajas, Let me try and help you with this.
Are you tracking your sleep with any other apps?
Can you please send a screenshot of what your Sleep Stages data look like in Apple Health? You can go to Apple Health -> Sleep -> Scroll down to Show all data, tap it, and screenshot the view for me.
Also, can you please send a screenshot of what your Sleep Data Sources look like in Bevel? You can go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Sleep. Screenshot this view for me.
I want to check if your Apple Watch is the 1st priority source in the order.

Bevel has full access to my apple health app. This has been going on for a week now.
