In the current version of the nutrition tracker, is my basic metabolic rate already calculated in? If not, wouldn’t that be quite logical regarding the overview of my intake?

Hi Anonymous, Bevel pulls in Apple's energy expenditure, which is calculated using BMR based on age/height/weight/gender. Is there something in particular with Macrofactor that you are finding to be more useful?

Amanda Oh yes, I can speak to this.
I don’t think it’s controversial to say that apple healths MBR statistics are wildly inaccurate.
MacroFactor uses weight trend and calorie counting data to estimate calories out. This is handy because it’s far more personalised ie apple says my BMR is 3000 when in reality it’s much closer to ~2400.
So, if I were to further expand I would say that the improvement lies within the algorithm change.
