Enable merging workouts from different sources (detect duplicates)

I have to track workouts on two apps to get benefits from my health insurance (Vitality). They need workouts logged directly by Apple Fitness in Apple Health, not third party integrated workouts.
If there’s no integration possible with Vitality points directly, please can you enable workouts over the same timeframe to be merged (e.g. Apple workout on Watch with HR zones + Bevel workout on iPhone with exercise info) so that exertion info is not duplicated.

Activity Tru-up

Hein
I have Garmin Connect linked to Apple Health.
I have Garmin Connect linked to Bevel.
This leads to the same exercise activity being counted twice on the same daily timeline - see attached screenshot.
The quick fix would be to disconnect Garmin from Bevel - but a better fix would be a process of tru-up.
This is necessary in a world where increasingly, multiple wearables or devices are being used simultaneously

Hi Hein I’ll submit merging data as a feature request. In the meantime, you can hide specific data sources to prevent duplicate workouts from appearing. Please follow the steps below.
- Open Bevel.
- Tap your initials or profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Data Sources.
- Select the health category you want to manage.
- Tap Hide Data Sources.
- Select the sources you want to hide.
- Tap Save.

Detect duplicates

Audit detect duplicate workout activities. For example, Runna and Strava are both reporting the same workout, which is counting twice in Bevel. Whoop etc as well. Should be easy to select a source of truth, either automatically or based on user preference and use a single source as the baseline.

Merge duplicate entries/activities

Great great app. Recent convert and loving it. A couple things though. I use my Garmin watch to track meditation and gym workouts. The watch counts my reps and records my calories burnt. I then have to go into the Garmin connect app to update the individual excercise because the watch doesn't always recognise the excercise. But Garmin connect isn't great with gym work or tracking. I've been using calibre for a while. But just started using bevel. Both are much better at gym tracking. You can clearly see the reps, sets, supersets, pictures/videos of how to do the excercise, history and whole bunch more.
When I finish the workout, bevel shows me two entries. The Garmin entry (showing calories burnt - which is needed) and the bevel entry - the detail of the workout itself. Same applies with meditation.
There should only be one entry. A merger of bevels gym detail and Garmin's watch detail.
When recording meditation on the watch, bevel should know that that is mindfulness and add it to the mindfulness tracking.

Remove Duplicate Workouts

Nimit Shah
I have multiple workout apps that are all talking to each other and have ways to remove a duplicate workout within the app except for Bevel. It would be great to have some sort of way that I could remove a workout that Is a duplicate of Anuva specifically on Bevel.

Option to dedupe workouts

An option to dedupe the data from multiple workout apps. I know this is currently intentional but different apps track different metrics

Duplicate workouts

Hey there,
I know there are already posts similar to this, but what if there was a feature to hide or ignore specific workouts so that it doesn’t affect strain, recovery, etc data? Maybe a “smart” feature to detect very similar workouts that happen at the same time, and asks the user to ignore one for accurate data?
Could be a work around for not being able to rewrite data from other apps?
