Really liking the food score system that Bevel brought with the first iteration of the nutrition tracker. This may be too ambitious on my part, but I’ve found myself using the “search food” option trying to identify what dishes at local restaurants have higher quality food scores. This is especially helpful for fast food (I know that no fast food is particularly good for you as it is). For example, on the surface I’d expect a Chili from Wendy’s to be a higher food score as there’s lower carbs and higher protein, but the score only comes in at a 60 due to the high sodium content.
I think it’d be helpful to have some way to search for a restaurant in the nutrition tracker and easily see what are some “top food score” items available at the location. If this isn’t possible, I also would be okay with the food score popping up when you search for the food item.
With the current work flow, I need to search for the food and add it to the log to see the individual item’s food score. Then I’m going in and deleting / adding a new item when trying to eat higher quality food. Maybe the score could be visible in the search function to eliminate the extra step in the process? Either way, keep up the great work!
