Stress notifications
planned (tbd)

If the app could notify us about stress getting too high, that would be great. The stress level app widget is helpful, but we are not always checking our watches or phones. And, when we do, some apps translate the current stress level into an emoji or allow custom-named stress levels to allow a glance into how one's physiology is faring. I would love to see something similar in Superset. It may sound silly, but I have benefited from such tools and it seems something Superset could have as part of its features based on the data it has available (some apps charge outrageous subscriptions for just this feature and little else).

It would be great to have more push notifications for abnormalities. Or for a high resting heart rate/stress notification.

Feel it’s a good addition to allow for watch settings to notify your wrist and have more on the Apple Watch itself

Smart Stress Alerts - catch burnout before it hits

Bevel already tracks recovery, but what if it could tell the difference between good stress (exercise, excitement, mental challenges) and bad stress (the kind that leaves you wiped out)?
Using HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep patterns, it could detect when your nervous system is overloaded - even before you feel it. Imagine your watch gently buzzing:
“You’ve been in high-stress mode for 45 mins - try a 5-min breathing reset.”
It helps you push just enough without crashing, and over time learns your personal stress sweet spot. Would be great if it was personalised to your trends too.
Bevel becomes a body-mind safety net ❤️ - helping you stay balanced, recover faster, and avoid burnout.

Adaptive HRV/Stress Response

Learn your personal rhythm over time and give adaptive insights - e.g., “Your stress response peaks later than normal - try morning sunlight exposure to reset your rhythm,” or “Evening HRV is low - consider reducing caffeine earlier.”

Set Alerts for Stress

For example if your in high stress for 2 hours you get a notification saying you need to breath etc. Would be great if you could set custom alerts and times for different metrics within the app.

Yes - this is a big one I’ve been missing too!
It would also be great to have custom time-based alerts, so if your stress level stays high for, say, an hour or two, the app could notify you.
Short bursts of stress can be normal and even healthy, but prolonged elevated stress is shown to be harmful, so having alerts based on duration would be incredibly helpful.

This feature would better allow me to track when I’m stressed throughout the day to ensure I can best control my anxiety by identifying activities that raise my stress level to improve my stress management

Really like this as an ability for Bevel to say take a quick breathing break or get up and walk around. Great suggestion.
