Recovery is blank for a whole week

I have reported these before that the recovery is simply not working and I have sent a picture and a video but no reply at this point this app is gonna start creating doubt the data is reliable at all. It’s just looks too sloppy frankly I wanted to work, but right now I think it’s close to unusable.

Recovery is not always displayed.

It appears to be random which days the app reports my recovery. The setting on iOS are set to share everything with Bevel. There aren’t any setting changes on my phone occurring between when Bevel records my recovery and when it doesn’t. It seems to not report my recovery about 60% of the time.

Recovery not showing
Roberto Alonso
Hi!
The recovery stopped showing for the last couple of days
Randell
Hi Roberto Alonso, Let me help you with this.
Are you tracking your sleep through Apple Watch only? Or are you using any other apps to track it?
Can you please send a screenshot of what your Data Sources in Sleep look like?
You can go to Bevel -> Profile (Upper Right corner) -> Data Sources -> Sleep. Screenshot this view for me.
I want to check if your Apple Watch is in the first priority source for sleep.
Also, can you please send a screenshot of what your Recovery Trends look like? You can go to Bevel -> Recovery -> Scroll down to "Trends" and screenshot the view for me
Roberto Alonso
Randell Hi, thanks for your quick answer.
I don't have an Apple Watch, I'm using Oura Ring and it's been working since the beginning. But suddenly, couple of days ago stopped showing the recovery, even though all my data is correct in Health App.
Roberto Alonso
Just noticed that the past two days I have a gap and RHR is missing, but Health App has it 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe this is the reason
Randell
Roberto Alonso: I see, can you please send a screenshot of what your Calculations look like? You can go to Bevel -> Profile -> Customization -> Calculation
Also, are you using the "shortcut" to import your HRV data to Apple Health from Oura?
Can you tell me how long have you been using Bevel with Oura Ring?
Roberto Alonso
Randell Yes, I'm using Shortcuts to import the data (SPO2, HRV, RHR and Temperature).
Been doing this and using Bevel with Oura I got the app, over a month already
Randell
Roberto Alonso: Got it. Can you please send a screenshot of the ff:
Bevel Settings > Data Sources > Resting Heart Rate
Bevel Settings > Data Sources > Heart Rate
Your calculation settings for Oura setup are correct. For this one, I want to check what data sources you have for HR and RHR
Roberto Alonso
Randell Sure, here you have it.
Much appreciate your help 🙏🏻

Roberto Alonso: Hey Robert, I am taking over for Randell here. Can you go to Apple Health > RHR > Show all data > Screenshot that view for me?
Roberto Alonso
Grey Hi! Thanks for your help. It's working again and recovery is showing
Roberto Alonso

Grey
Roberto Alonso: Thanks, can you tap on a day and show me a screenshot of that?
And just to confirm, everything's working again for you?
Roberto Alonso
Grey Thanks for your time and support!
Yes, everything is working well 👍🏻

Hi Andrew C, Since we haven't heard back from you, I am closing this ticket now. Please feel free to comment if you are still experiencing this issue, and I'll reopen the ticket for you. Thanks!
Randell
Hi Andrew C, I'd like to follow up on this, are you still experiencing this issue?

Vince
I am experiencing the same issue. My recovering score is not provided because there is no data for my resting HR and HRV. This is the second day in a row after several days recovery score was provided.
Randell
Vince: Hi Vince, Can you please provide a screenshot of what your Data Sources look like?
you can go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources. Screenshot this view for me.
Also, Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Tap on Sleep and screenshot this view for me
Do you use any other devices or apps to track your Sleep? or just Apple Watch?

Randell, just a note, I do not wear my watch or any device to bed at this time to track sleep. In the past Bevel has used my HR and HVR when I first put my watch on.
Randell
Vince: Hi, since you are not using any devices such as your Apple Watch to track your sleep. It is expected that you won't have any Recovery score.
For this to work on your end, you can do the following Calculation setup:
- Go to Settings > Customization > Calculations
- Change "HRV Method" to "Apple Health"
- Change "RHR Method" to "Apple Health"
- Change "Use HRV from" to "Entire day"
- Change "Use RHR from" to "Entire day"
Also, I just wanted to note that: Bevel works best if you wear your watch when you sleep. This way, you are able to utilize the app well and its features.
Using the "Entire Day" method here will work but I want to let you know that it isn't the most accurate.
Please let me know if it works on your end. Thanks!

Randell Thank you for the quick reply

Hi Andrew C, Let me try and help you with this.
Can you please share this screenshot for me:
- Go to -> Bevel -> Profile -> Customization -> Calculations. Screenshot this view for me.
Also, are you tracking your sleep with any other apps or devices? or just Apple Watch? If you only use Apple Watch, Do you always wear your watch to sleep?
