Smart Alarm does not adjust with host Time Zone changes

On a flight, I am unable to predict whether my phone will automatically update its time zones, nor when that change might happen.
I can only set an alarm to a specific time.
Expected behavior:
The alarm is coupled with UTC and time zone aware, not hard coded to a time value.
Steps to reproduce:
- Set smart alarm for 7am PT.
- Change device time zone to ET.
- Alarm goes off at 7am ET.

Thanks for the suggestion Ian McShane. How often does this occur for you? I'll add it to the roadmap and we can revisit if others feel the same. :)

Amanda Hi! For me, this is an issue at least twice a month. Tracking my sleep on continental and international flights is a key measurement metric for me as I try different things to improve quality and quantity of sleep.

Expected behavior:
The alarm is coupled with UTC and time zone aware, not hard coded to a time value.
When I set the alarm to 7am PT and my device switched to ET, the alarm should convert to 10am ET (7am PT)
Steps to reproduce:
- Set smart alarm for 7am PT.
- Change device time zone to ET.
- Alarm goes off at 7am ET.
