previously it showed the the actual active calories of workout in the monthly and weekly totals while now in the new updates it picks up the total calories of the day from apple health which is not useful , and shows it. plus the weekly comparison of activities and active calories is now missing in this new update which was a good thing.

Hi ammad ali ameer, Are you asking to have your "Active Energy" displayed on your Strain Trends? You can go to Bevel -> Profile -> Customization -> Calculation -> Scroll down to "Calories Display:" There you can change from Total Energy to Active Energy.

Randell thanks for the response, ive changed that setting but it still shows the active calories from the apple health app not the ones burned in the workout only

ammad ali ameer: Hi Ammad, to make energy useful for most use cases, we've adjusted the algorithm to either use "Active Energy" for the entire day or "Total Energy" for the entire day.
Limiting it to just active exercises made it limiting for those who have many passive activities such as unrecorded walks.

Will do. Thanks Tomek Gniewko Bielak

Grey: I think you should default to active calories. Displaying total calories by default (although maybe unintentional) gives users like me the impression I burned way more active calories. Especially when coming from apple fitness display stats.

Mani Kandan: Thanks for the suggestion. I created a new ticket here: https://feedback.supersethealth.com/feature-requests/p/change-default-calories-setting-to-active-calories
If others feel the same way, I can make this change
Tim Nederhand
Grey: agree with Mani, though naturally open to both

Hi Tim Nederhand, this is now added. Please download the latest build. You can click on your profile image -> Calculations -> change it to Active Calories only. Let me know if you are having issue
Tim Nederhand
Grey: thanks a lot Grey. I now see the option in the settings, though after selecting I still see the total calories for a workout
Grey
Tim Nederhand: Ah my bad. Will get that fixed asap. Thanks for reporting.
Tim Nederhand
Grey: Working well now, thanks a lot Grey
