Two Datasources recording the same training count double.

I use Strava and Nike Run Club(NRC).
Strava is linked with Apple Health,
NRC is connected with Strava and Apple Health.
When I now do a Workout using NRC it gets reported to Strava and Apple Health. Strava reports the same workout back into Apple health. Apple health understands that it’s the same workout. Bevel however counts this as two workouts. Therefore twice the strain, cardio load etc.
Excluding Strava as datasource is a working workaround but I would love if Bevel could recognize this on its own.

Hi jxstxn __, It seems like you are aware of how to hide data sources within Bevel, If not, you can go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Workouts, hide data source. Once you've hidden the data source Bevel will exclude it from the calculations moving forward.
I can move this ticket to the feature request board for you instead of it being a bug report.

Smart Merge or Deletion of duplicate activities

Whenever I track my workout with my Apple Watch and the Strong App on my iPhone at the same time, both entries will be counted as separate activities and therefore the strain related numbers are falsely counted twice, despite both activities happened at the same time.
I would love to see Bevel becoming smart and either merge those duplicates or delete the shorter activity whenever it detects multiple activities within the same time window.
Even better: Allow the user what should happen. Merge or Delete or Do nothing.
There could be different deletion variants / preferences that the user might be interested in:
- Delete shorter activity
- Delete longer activity
- Keep activity of App with highest priority number* and delete the other duplicate activity
*App preference list (for activities) must exist in order to allow this deletion variant

Hi Wing, If you have duplicated activities that you don’t want to display in Bevel, go to Bevel -> Profile -> Data Sources -> Workouts -> Hide Data Source. Once hidden, the data source will be excluded from the Bevel app.
I will close this ticket now. Please feel free to let me know if you are asking for something else.

Hi Alex Tooth, thanks for the suggestion. To keep data integrity, I've opted not to delete any data since it would be hard to track what's deleted and what's not.
Therefore, you'll see duplicated activities on the activity list, but Superset will know this and dedupe any activities before it calculates the total day metrics, so you don't have to worry about the scores being inflated. If you want to dedupe them still, I would suggest turning off write access for one of the apps so you only have one source writing to Apple Health.
