Tracker while exercising

Would be huge to be able to start and track heart rate during a workout. That’s currently a big miss!
Amanda
Hi Joe Masci, can you share more about what you are looking for? Bevel currently tracks heart rate during workouts.

Amanda thanks. Is there a way to show live heart rate on the watch during a workout? This is hugely helpful on an exercise bike when trying to dial in heart rate zones. FYI your competitor Athlytic does this, as does Whoop.

I currently use the cycling feature from apple workout app a lot for things like monitoring training zone, speed, etc while cycling. would love to do away with all apple fitness and just use bevel for this if possible.

Is it possible to add more workouts to the app. Like swimming or running. Now there are mainly gym workouts only.

Grey: I actually think this would be a mistake. One of the fastest changing areas is the workout field, so who cares if the user makes the workout through WorkOutDoors or Apple workouts? You run the risk as a developer of taking in too much; for now I would really recommend honing in on other recovery and health metrics and building out all of the data you can show (similar to how Athlytic (to some degree) and HealthFit do. If you can make yourself the place where every user goes to view their health data, that to me seems better than trying to force them to use your app to make the workout if that makes sense.
Grey
Dylan: 100%. This ticket is currently at the bottom of my backlog.
My plan with Superset is that unless it can provide something that other apps can’t, Superset will not try to do it all and read data from Apple Health.

Dylan I fully agree, so many apps have activity trackers but almost all of them are subpar to either: Apples own default, Strava imported into health or Workoutdoors. I want an app like athlytic, but shows all the other data in health like steps, weight ect in an intuitive way so I dont have to go into health.
I think this app is 6 months to 1 year away from overtaking athlytic, and a year or 2 away from being big enough that if you buy an apple watch you have to get this app.
