Allow retroactive tags value when customising journal
planned (tbd)

Recently I’m trying new supplements and behaviours. To check how they affect my sleep or recovery I create custom tags.
The issue I have right now is that I have to manually go back to the previous days to add a negative value since is a new behaviour I’m starting to implement.
It would be good if, when adding a new tag to my journal, the app will ask if I want to set a value for the previous days.

Grey Changed from Soon to TBD. I feel like so many of us have a microform of OCD and need that green ticks to be green, not yellow. Adding a new item to track results in all my previous greens to go away. Should only start from the day I add it

I might be missing something, but I see no reason why everything not logged should not be a negative value by default.

Ben my thought is that what is not logged means “I don’t know” so the app don’t take in consideration these tags for the insights. If you want to retroactively add a new tag you have 2 cases:
- it’s a new behaviour that you are introducing so all the previous tags should be added a “No”
- it’s a behaviour that you were already doing before. In this case I would use the “not logged” because I can’t say for sure that I have done that action consistently since the beginning of the data stored by the AW

Alberto Cerrone Thank you for your response. I didn't think about the fact that marking everything unchecked as a negative value by default would go back that far. So far, I've only been logging postives and not negatives as I didn't think logging negatives was needed. I will start doing this then.

Yup, definitely something we want to add soon. Thanks for the feedback.
