Auto detection of sport activities

Although apple watch auto detects activities like outdoor walk and run, it does not detect other sport activities like tennis, soccer etc. Change in heart rate can be used to detect an activity automatically when apple watch doesn't detect it. I guess it would be hard to detect the specific activity but we can label the sport or activity manually.

The beauty of whoop is that it automatically recognizes when I do activities. I’m considering leaving whoop to this platform, but the app sync is slow and does notice anything unless I tell it I’m doing something. It should know by my heart rate and movement of my watch that I’m doing something. Whoop usually even knows what I’m doing… workout, golf, swimming, walking, etc. that feature is incredible. Even if it just logs and activity, I’m glad to go update it to what the activity is and what I was doing.

Autodetect bike

How to use it when I travel around the city every day on a bicycle I find it very annoying when Apple Watch asks me for confirmation (while riding my bike in winter on the street next to cars) that I am riding a bicycle. Is there a way to bypass Apple in this so that it is Bevel who detects that I have ridden a bike and maybe then asks me to confirm the trips taken?

Automatically track everywhere I go (visual map)

I want an automatic route tracking feature.
I would like the app to record all the places I walk or visit throughout the day without manually starting an activity. The app should keep a continuous log of my movement in the background and show a visual route on the map, similar to Google Maps Timeline.

Strength Builder without tracking

I use another app (Hevy) for tracking my workout progression etc. but I really like the idea of having my exertion properly tracked when I am strength training.
Is there a way of tracking “working” and “resting” time without entering what I am doing and the weights? Would that still add exertion in the way it does now?
Amanda
Hi Daniel Hunter, we are working on a more comprehensive version of Strength Builder at the moment which I think you'll enjoy! Re: "without entering", are you referring to automatic detection? If so, this is on our roadmap for future :)

Hi Vishal, there is already a basic automatic detection of activities. In the next update, you'll see it shows up as "Other Exercise." In the future, you'll be able to see the details of that exercise and rename it.
