Automated Progressive Overload for Workouts
planned (tbd)

When creating a workout plan, I'd like a feature for automated progression in different ways:
On X Successes:
- Increase repetitions by X within a range of X to X reps. Once this rep range is completed, increase the weight by X kg.
Example: Every time I successfully complete my set of 10 kg x 4 sets x 8 curls, increase by 1 rep within an 8-10 rep range.
So next time I'd do 10 kg x 4 sets x 9 curls, then 10 kg x 4 sets x 10).
After completing this cycle, I would then move to 12 kg x 4 sets x 8 reps, etc.
On X Failures:
- Apply the same system (decrease repetitions or decrease weight).

Auto Progressive Weights

Can we use data from weight and reps templates to give the option to auto-set the new workouts reps and weights to manage progressive overload. Maybe a sliding scale from minimal to aggressive for different lifters (1% - 10% increments etc)

Copy workout sets and weights from your progress history

Would be very useful to Copy workout sets and weights from your progress history, and even better if it could suggest you when to increase weight based on your progress history. For example if your goal is to make 8-12 reps and in your previous workout you were able to make 12 reps in 2 sets, to suggest you to increase weight.

Leveling up Strength Builder with Smart Progression & Splits

Hey Bevel Team, I have been using the app for ~6 months now and absolutely love it and rely on it daily—it’s a true 10/10 for recovery, sleep, and holistic health tracking. However, the workout logging feels like it’s being left behind compared to the rest of the ecosystem and needs an upgrade to be a definitive all-in-one solution.
I would love to see Bevel implement the ability to build a custom workout split, set specific rep ranges and exercises, and seamlessly rotate through those training days without having to manually juggle templates.
The absolute game-changer we need is a "Smart Progression" feature session-to-session, similar to what MacroFactor just introduced in their new Workouts app. Their algorithm acts like a digital PT, automatically adjusting the recommended weight and reps for the next session based on past performance, RIR (Reps in Reserve) targets, and fatigue. If Bevel could integrate this level of intelligent auto-progression to handle progressive overload automatically, the app would be 100x better and completely untouchable.

When building the strength workouts, it’s world new nice if at some point it could prompt when the best time is to start progressive overloads

+1 on this requests would love a profession mode on weight workouts, ideally monitored by AI, so there’s questions, possible inputs, etc.

Professional progressive overload

I have already seen a few inquiries on this topic, but I wanted to add a few more details.
It would be practical if you could not only specify an (automatic) progressive overload, but also adjust it according to certain criteria.
So it would not only be practical to choose between a progression of repetitions per exercise; weight per exercise, total repetitions per muscle; total weight per muscle or a "total volume" based on weight and repetitions (depending on which system you prefer), but also being able to select individual exercises or muscle groups for which you want to achieve progression in the respective training sessions for a period/time "x".
I am happy to provide further support if you have any questions on this topic.

Would be great to choose a strength builder goal
1 maintain
2 progressive overload (weight)
3 progressive overload reps
4 deload
5 manual recording (as currently, you record what did)
Then choose length of the goal
And based on that bevel would actually create a plan for you what you need to lift in the upcoming weeks ie you would 8 weeks and each week you have to lift slightly more than last week but when you start you know what you need to lift it’s on the watch or phone etc

Improved gym progress (progressive overload and weights training)

I have been using Bevel for some time now I love that I can track what workouts I’m doing, but I find it frustrating guessing what weight I lifted last week. This feature should “remember” what I lifted last week WHILE using the app.
I would also like to see my progress as a chart so I can look back to see how my lifts slowly improve NOT how much weight in total I’ve lifted.
Otherwise LOVE using this app and this would make all the difference for me x

Suggested weight for exercise
Alberto Cerrone
Would be awesome if the user could make use of the data collected by previously done exercises when planning a new workout in a very easy way.
This could be like giving a suggested weight to use based on the number of reps and sets the user selected or by giving an estimation of the effort that the user could perceive during the exercise (like from a scale to very easy to extreme, or maybe add close to the exercise the possible RPE)
The way to do so could be like the 1 Rep Max Calculator https://www.strengthlog.com/1rm-calculator/
To add on this, a new page like StrenghtLog could show us the already calculated 1RM(with a way to view other reps weight) for the exercises that we have logged in the past
