Automatic rep and strength training logger

I truly love and am a Superset devotee, but the new manual rep logger feature for strength training is like last century?
Honestly, didn't want to advertise to anyone, but have you considered automatic exercise and rep detection like atlon.app or trainfitness.ai does? Automatic recognition in the gym really works, I've tested it, very handy.

Apple watch rep counting

This would change the game. If you made it so you can start a workout and have bevel detect the excercise and have it count reps with the gyroscope. This is what Morta is using and it is a life changer.

rep counting should be automatic using apple watch at least for certain movements such as pull downs and rows with large ROM

Automatic Rep Counting via Apple Watch / AirPods

It would be a game-changer if the Bevel Apple Watch app (or via AirPods motion sensors) could automatically track and count the number of repetitions during a set, reducing the need to manually input the data after every exercise.

It would be nice if during workouts on the watch, we could automatically see the last workout (weight and rep) rather than the default measurement programmed when developing the program

Add Automatic Rep & Set Detection for Strength Training

First of all, thank you for the incredible work you’re doing with Bevel. The level of detail in recovery metrics, readiness analysis, and overall health insights is genuinely impressive. The design and data clarity are also outstanding.
One feature that would make Bevel even more powerful would be automatic rep and set detection during strength training sessions using Apple Watch motion sensors. Being able to automatically detect exercises, count repetitions, and structure sets (similar to dedicated lifting apps) would significantly improve the gym experience and reduce manual input.
This addition would make Bevel not only a top-tier recovery and health analytics app, but also a complete strength training companion.
Thank you again for the continuous improvements and for building such a high-quality product.

Apple Watch to record strength training

Like the Motra (Train) application, apply the use of AI to record strength exercises as well as automatically count the series performed. Another option would be to simply read the data from such an application. Attached link to it. https://apps.apple.com/app/id1548577496

I use an app called Train to automatically detect the exercises and reps during a work out. I’ve noticed I can sceen shot those exercises from their app and easily import it into bevel, but it would be ideal if bevel did this on its own.

I think this very possible using the censor data of the Apple Watch. Would love for the app to automatically log how many reps I did during my workout.

I tried Train (now Motra) and the auto rep tracking was pretty good once I told it what movements I was doing.
I don't see the use case for a feature that recognises whatever exercise you do at random. That doesn't seem like an efficient or intentional way to weight train at all - even if the app could do it.
I suppose if you have a personal trainer telling you what to do, or some sort of written workout, group fitness class, then it would be useful in that case.
Putting auto rep counting on top of Workout templates makes it easier for the app to track reps, but also allows the user to be more intentional about their strength training practice.
