Details:
This might be a niche feature, but I think it could open Bevel up to a whole new group of users. I’m a type 1 diabetic and use Bevel to track everything—meals, exercise, and blood sugar. One thing that’s missing is support for bolus insulin tracking.
Bolus insulin is the fast-acting insulin taken for meals or high blood sugar. A great starting point would be letting users log their insulin doses. Over time, the app could start learning patterns and suggest insulin amounts based on meals logged, or let users know if they still have insulin on board and may need a snack.
You could offer:
• Manual logging (I log both my food and dose), or
• Smart suggestions (I log the food, and the app recommends a dose), even for meals I plan to eat soon.
Bevel already tracks my CGM data, so adding bolus support would complete the loop for diabetics. This would fill a huge gap and could attract many new users.
Thanks for considering!
