Diet Mode

I’d like to suggest a Diet Mode feature in Bevel. The idea is to help users track their weight progress in relation to their calorie intake (whether in a deficit, surplus, or maintenance). It would show if the user is on track based on their diet, and give estimates for how long it will take to reach their goal weight.
If weight stalls, the app could detect it and suggest adjusting calories or activity. It should also include weekly check-ins, a consistency score based on how closely the user sticks to their calorie goal, and a visual chart comparing actual vs. projected weight.
It would be great to support phased goals (like cutting → maintaining → bulking) with separate calorie targets.

I’d love to see a calories goals update, similar to my fitness pal, where I can easily see if I’m at calorie deficit or surplus based on how many calories I want to intake in the day, as I’ve done in the vast by setting a 500 calories deficit goal based off BMR I think it’s called, but it also takes into consideration any exercise I’ve done and adjusts my calories needed for that day based off those additional metrics, when do you think feature will be implemented?

Nutrition and weight goals

I found it surprising when I found out there’s no way to set goals for nutrition (kcals, grams of protein etc). I think it’s a no-brainer! I’d also love to be able to add my target weight gain/loss and goal weight, so that I can track my weight and if it detects my weight is changing too much or too little, it’ll suggest changing the target caloric intake by X amount. Macro Factor is really ahead of the game on this and I think copying a few features from them would really complete the nutrition part of the app.

Daily calorie target

Hi!
I’ve noticed that the app currently only displays calories consumed and calories burned, but does not take into account my personal daily calorie budget (e.g. based on BMR or TDEE).
Without this, it’s hard to track whether I’m actually in a caloric deficit or surplus, which is essential for weight management.
I suggest including a feature that calculates and displays a personalized daily calorie target, based on user input like age, weight, height, and activity level.
Thanks for considering this improvement!

Hi Iztok Škornik, We have a planned ticket for it. Let me merge this ticket for you! Thanks for the suggestion!

It would be useful to have the ability to manually set the macro division. I use YAZIO and depending on the diet period I choose whether to set proteins, for example, at 30%; fats at 25% and carbohydrates at 45%. This way I could abandon the other nutrition tracking apps and centralize everything in Bevel because it would give me the flexibility to manage the brands I need.

A display and complication for the Apple Watch which shows the progress of how many total calories have already been burned from a given calorie target would be great.

Grey Hey Grey, amazing that you're working on that feature. Any wild guess by when this should become available in the App?
