Cardio Training Plans (Marathons, Triathlons, etc)

I’d love to see the option to create custom workout plans that go beyond just strength training. I primarily run and currently build my own running schedules in PDF format, but it would be incredibly helpful to create, manage, and track these types of workouts directly within the app.
The idea would be to allow users to build their own custom plans—broken into blocks of weeks—for any type of workout, not just strength. That could include running, cycling, mobility, or anything else.
It would be great to manually check off workouts as they’re completed, but what would be amazing is if the app could automatically check them off based on the workout performed that day.
Overall, I’d love to have the flexibility to build and follow a personalized workout plan that fits my training style.

Available in Bevel 3.0. Bevel Intelligence can build this for you. Try: “Create a half marathon training plan for a race on ___. I can run 4 days a week. Also create a tracker for me."

Cardio Builder
M
Max Bohn
Now that Bevel has introduced a Strength Builder, adding a dedicated Cardio-Builder would be a game-changer for holistic fitness tracking. While Bevel is excellent at analyzing recovery and strain, it could provide even more value by actively optimizing cardio training sessions.
Core Concept
The goal is to provide a guided approach to cardiovascular health, similar to how strength training is handled. Bevel could analyze current intensity levels and provide actionable recommendations for specific heart rate zones.
Key Features
• Intensity Analysis & Distribution: Bevel could analyze my recent workouts and suggest the optimal distribution between Zone 2 (Base), Anaerobic, and VO2 Max training to avoid overtraining while maximizing gains.
• Dynamic Training Plans: Based on individual recovery and fitness levels, Bevel could generate a weekly "Cardio Goal."
• Example: "To optimize your cardiovascular health this week, aim for 40 minutes of Zone 2 or a 20-minute high-intensity session at your maximum heart rate."
• Holistic Integration: Align these cardio recommendations with the current Strength Builder to ensure a balanced approach to both metabolic and muscular fitness.
Why this matters
Many users struggle to find the right balance between low-intensity aerobic work and high-intensity intervals. By providing a clear roadmap for cardio — just as Bevel aims to do for strength — the app would become the ultimate all-in-one coach for longevity and performance.

Implementing Cardio workout plans to follow like training to run for a 5k or 10k or marathon.

Like what Runna does; develop a workout plan to run a 5k or start running after injury.

Build Running Training Plans

I would love to see this app integrate training plans for running, particularly for races. For example, a 12 week plan with specific paces for workouts, and detailed runs based on how many times a week a user wants to run, their prs, current running ability, and other metrics.

Running with Bevel

It would be extremely useful to use Bevel intelligence to create running workouts focused on fitness, and not just weight training! Imagine how cool you can order a 21k or 42k training program with rhythms, breaks, tempo runs, easy runs, etc! It would be amazing!

Personalized Running Training Plan Generator
S
Simon
It would be great if Bevel could generate personalized running training plans based on a user’s goals and health data.
The feature could start with a short questionnaire asking things like:
• Running goal (for example: improve 5k time, train for a race, build endurance)
• Current fitness level
• Weekly training availability
• Current running pace or recent runs
• Injury history or recovery limits
Using this information, the app could create a daily or weekly training plan that adapts to the user’s goals. Because Bevel already tracks health metrics like recovery, sleep, and stress, the plan could also adjust automatically. For example, if recovery is low or sleep was poor, the app could recommend a lighter run or rest day.
The plan could include:
• Daily workout suggestions (easy run, intervals, long run, rest)
• Suggested distance or time
• Target pace or effort level
• Recovery recommendations
This would turn the app into more of a personal health and performance coach, helping users improve their running while staying aligned with their recovery and overall health data.
