I live in Europe. A large part of food search results return products that are not available in my country, parasitizing and making it difficult to search when you don't have the bar code available.

You should be able to select your main country and highlight the products available in that country.

Live in Germany and the food database / brands are vastly different than UK / US. It would be beneficial if I could select the fooddatabase to be able to search better when not scanning barcode.

Allow users to create and store custom synonyms that automatically substitute into the food tracker. For instance, typing could be mapped to once, and the app would handle the substitution going forward.

This removes a common source of frustration for international users, reduces repetitive manual edits, and makes the food tracker feel more intuitive and user-friendly—without requiring Bevel to solve global data fidelity issues directly.

Hi, I’ve noticed that your AI and calorie information doesn’t really fit European foods very well. For example, the calorie counts I get are way higher than they should be for the foods I’m eating here. One app shows 1400 calories, while yours shows 2500 for the same amount of food. So it seems like there’s a mismatch. I’d appreciate it if you could look into making it more accurate for European users. Thanks!
