Change sleep times based on time zone
planned (tbd)

I have a pretty crazy travel schedule and my sleep time keeps shifting by 5 hrs every few weeks. It would be good to see a graph of my typical bedtime / wake up time standarized based on the time zone.
This is also true for pretty much all other stats. Like saying that my energy bank is lower than typical at this time… what does it mean for me? Because for the past 2 weeks “at this time” i was sleeping!

If you do implement this feature, please keep the current functionality accessible under a settings toggle.
I find it useful to see that my sleep patterns in a different time zone were actually offset from the current one, and it also helps identify time zone changes.

Bevel en voyage (time zone change)

For the moment, Bevel only takes into account one time zone (the current one). The bedtime/alarm time is therefore delayed (in the past) when traveling and the time zone changes.
It would also be nice to be able to track the impact of jet lag on sleep performance (in the journal)

Can this one be prioritized because I live part of the year in one time zone and part in another so my graph looks like I’m shifting my sleep schedule by two hours during the year. I also travel a bit and that’s impacting current trends.

Better timezone management
Tibo
When traveling to a different timezone and looking back at historical data, the current timezone is used, resulting in sleep that shows up in the middle of the day, etc.
Bevel should maintain the device’s timezone of that day for days fully spent in 1 timezone. And for days that had several time zones (eg travel days), there should be a clever rule applied (eg add an indication of the timezone on graphs and hour indications, depending on the device timezone at the time of the measurement).

Hi Joe d'Elia, this is a good point and would help with legibility and understanding sleep trends over time with travel. I will add this to the roadmap!
