Compare Energy Bank over time

I would like a feature similar to recovery/strain/stress which allow you compare energy bank charge/drain across multiple time periods. Garmin has a feature similar to this.
Photo 1: page style I envision superset having to show energy bank over time.
Photo 2: Garmin’s implementation of a similar feature.

Currently, Bevel provides a “Typical Baseline” for the Energy Bank, which is incredibly useful for understanding real-time resilience. However, this comparison is only available for the current moment. Once the hour passes, the context of whether an energy level was “normal” or a “deficit” for that specific time is lost.
The Request:
Enable the ability to view the “Typical Baseline” curve historically. Users should be able to look back at any previous day and see not just their raw Energy Bank levels, but an overlay or data point showing what their “Typical Baseline” was for those specific times.
Why this matters:
- AI Coaching & Analysis: It allows for deeper investigation into why a day ended in a deficit. Was the energy drain concentrated in a specific intraday window (e.g., a stressful afternoon), or was the user “behind the curve” starting from the morning?
- Cross-Metric Correlation: It enables users to see if specific interventions (like nutrition timing, morning sunlight, or nap protocols) are actually shifting their energy levels above their 30-day historical “normal” for that hour.
- Pattern Recognition: Helping users identify “structural” energy crashes vs. acute, load-based depletion.
Proposed UI: A toggle on the Energy Bank historical chart to “Show Typical Baseline Curve” as a ghosted line behind the actual levels.

Body battery historical trend chart

Kushan Mehta
Can we please add a trend chart for showing body battery over time 7d, 30d, 60d etc.
This would be very helpful to see how my energy levels are changing with say more workouts or lifestyle changes or illness.
Leah
Hi Kushan Mehta I’ll add this as a feature request. In the meantime, you can view battery across all days by clicking the dropdown next to the date and selecting Energy. Scroll to see your energy at the daily level.

bodyBattery as a bar

BodyBattery as a bar on the Apple Watch instead of a very small daily chart where you have trouble reading it.

Yeah with a greyed out bar behind that shows the max it was that day

Great idea, I find this data in Garmin connect helpful.

Enhanced Time Scale Functionality for Energy Level Visualization
Smartin
Currently, the app provides an energy level graphic for daily tracking. I would like to suggest two important improvements to enhance the user experience and data insights:
- Zoom-In Capability
- Enable users to zoom into the energy level graph to view more granular data, particularly focusing on short-term changes (e.g., last few minutes or hours).
- This feature would allow users to closely examine how specific events or activities (such as relaxation exercises) immediately impact their stress and energy levels.
- Potential implementation could include pinch-to-zoom or a slider for time range selection.
- Zoom-Out Functionality
- Develop the ability to zoom out and view energy level trends over extended periods, such as multiple days or an entire week.
- This broader perspective would help users understand their overall energy patterns, identify trends, and recognize potential factors influencing their energy levels.
- A weekly or multi-day overview could provide valuable insights into lifestyle and wellness patterns.
These enhancements would significantly improve the app's analytical capabilities, providing users with more comprehensive and flexible data visualization options.

Thank you for the detailed suggestions, Smartin! Many of these are on our roadmap. I'll merge this with our existing ticket :)
