Create own Food

To be able to create "own food" (just like in YAZIO) when there is no available Food in the database.
You give it a Name, Producer, Category and fill in the Nutrition Label on the Food/Product (kcal/carbs/fat/protein per 100g and maybe also stuff like Vitamins and Salt et.
Those created foods can be private only or shared with others public

Nutrition - Calories Quick add
José Silva
There should be an option for moments where I am eating out and know how many calories there are, but the search/AI/scan doesn’t work.
For example I wanted to add a biscuit that is only 19cal, but nothing was showing up and those that did were 120+ calories, even if I devided the doses it wouldn’t hit the correct amount

•To have the option to log in the nutrients of a meal manually.
•Food log, needs to have recent logged foods easy to access instead of searching it again.

Food: QUICK ADD

It would be very convenient to be able to manually impute the macronutrients (and consequently calculate the kcal) with a function like quickadd by MyFitnessPal. In fact, it's the only reason I keep using MFPs.
Use case: I upload the photo of the plate to ChatGPT, which is much more accurate in estimating Macros than Bevel or MFP.

Lance Huber we're adding a way to do this in the next release. I'll merge with the existing ticket.

Manual Macro Input

Bevel is the best App for health, one of the things I would love to see and I see it as huge missing feature is adding manually macros.
Currently, for instance I write Sandwich with Chicken, it will automatically fill macros and calories and I cannot edit that.
That’s frustrating.
Why so?
Because many foods are not registered in Bevel and I know the exact nutritional information of a food. So in such case I want to add exactly my nutritional information.

Add the ability to scan nutrition labels and barcodes to create custom foods, enabling users to track items not in the database.

I will probably only become a Bevel customer when this feature is added.:)

Pull Meal Kit Nutrition

I regularly use a meal kit service called Fresh Prep (in Canada) and they publish nutrition info on their website and it’s also provided on the recipe card. To log a meal, I either have to tediously add the ingredients or take a picture and adjust. It would be nice to take a screenshot of the recipe card nutrition or be able to provide the meal URL on their website to accurately log meals
