Cycle-Aware Recovery: A Missing Piece

Hi! I wanted to share some feedback around recovery scoring and how it relates to the menstrual cycle.
I’ve noticed a consistent pattern where my recovery scores drop significantly during my luteal phase, even when my habits (sleep, nutrition, training load) remain relatively consistent. From what I understand, this is physiologically normal due to hormonal shifts—but the current scoring doesn’t seem to account for that.
As a result, it can feel discouraging or even misleading, as if I’m doing something wrong when in reality my body is just in a different phase.
I was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate cycle-aware insights into recovery scoring. For example:
Adjusting expectations or baselines based on menstrual cycle phase
Providing context like “lower recovery is expected during this phase”
Highlighting that the body may need more rest or different training intensity
Potentially integrating with cycle tracking apps or allowing manual input
Even small nudges or educational insights would make a big difference in helping women interpret their data more accurately and feel supported rather than penalized.
I really appreciate the product and would love to see it evolve in a way that better reflects female physiology.

Hi Daviela Antoimas If you are logging cycles in the app you should be seeing suggested recovery based on your cycle. See picture below. If this doesn’t quite address your feedback, please share a bit more detail about what you’re looking for, and I’ll be happy to help!
