“Describe workout” AI auto capture
planned (soon)

As voice-to-text technology continues to improve, the phone’s keyboard is becoming less essential. We’re already seeing great applications of voice input—like your food log feature, where users can simply describe what they ate, and the AI fills in the nutritional details. That’s a fantastic and intuitive tool.
Now imagine extending that same functionality to the workout log. Instead of manually typing in every set and rep, a user could just say:
“I did 45 pounds for five reps, three sets total. It took about 15 minutes with a two-minute rest between sets.”
The app could parse this voice input and automatically populate the workout log with the correct exercise, weight, sets, reps, rest intervals, and even the estimated duration.
This would streamline the logging process, remove friction, and allow users to stay in the flow of their workout—especially in the gym, where typing can be a hassle.
It’s a natural next step for a fitness app already leveraging smart AI input.

Thanks for the suggestion, Patrick Jewell! Would definitely be cool. We can add it to the roadmap.
