Drill in on macros & micros
in progress

I love seeing the macro breakdown in nutrition but it’s not super clear to me what things I ate contributing to each of them without going through each food input and add them up. Would be great if we could click into the “carbs” for example and it would list everything we ate that had carbs and their amount.

Fiber entry needed
Karl Badde
Only went to the nutrition area to evaluate bevel as an alternative to what I currently use and Fibers are missing. I really don’t care that much about fat as I care about fiber and I expect most users of bevel to switch that way in the future

Potassium issue
Tomek Gniewko Bielak
When I click on potassium in Apple health I can see what’s recorded but I only record with bevel… yet on bevel I can’t find it. Is it accurate? And what’s going on

Hi Tomek Gniewko Bielak We’re currently working on the improvement for it! Let me merge your ticket with an existing one.
This will be part of the major release coming this September.

Magnesium in nutrition facts

Bevel correctly tracks and logs magnesium from food and mineral water in Apple Health, but doesn’t show it in nutrition facts

Nutrition to include vitamins and fiber intake
Kat Alalawi
I can see the app calculates vitamins in journal tab, and it has fiber information in food details. Would be great if UI tracks these with more ease; shows the recommended amount of vitamins/fiber per day and the intake, to help manage the diet better and know which supplements or foods to go for.

Total calories + Macros per 'food log'

Ellis
When logging a few items of food at once, it would be good to see the total calories, and macros for that log. For example. when i log a meal I will often scan the barcodes, weigh of search for each item of food and then log them all at the same time. It would be good to see the total macros and calories for all of those foods added together, so I know how much I consumed at that time, rather than for each individual ingredient. I know the recipe feature kind of does this, but that required creating a recipe for each meal and they're not always the same. It would be good to see it for that specific food log period.

Detail view for ingredients when viewing recipes

When viewing a recipe from the home page, it would be great if you could get a detail view of the ingredients by tapping on them, similar to the functionality when adding or editing a recipe.

Info on fibre
greygame45
Could there be information on fibre as well as fats/ protein/ carbs and also a total amount of each at the end of the day. Fibre is increasingly mentioned in health magazines and I look forward to seeing it on the app as well.

Electrolytes in Journal (Food)

Maybe it is possible to track sodium and potassium in the Journal via food consumed.
