Dynamic Nutrition Goals & TDEE

would be perfect to have a more complete and well-rounded nutrition section, where weight-gaining or weight-losing plans are calculated and tracked based on weight data from Apple health and science.
Weight goals should be adjusted automatically based on the pace of weight gain/loss and changes of body composition.
MacroFactor does a pretty great job at this and is very user friendly

Integration of burned calories into the daily nutritional goal
L
Lorenzo Adacher
Currently, the daily calorie goal in Bevel is a fixed value that does not take into account the calories consumed during training. This means that on the days I work out, my real calorie requirement is higher, but the app doesn't reflect it, making it difficult to calibrate my diet properly.
two possible solutions:
Option 1: Automatic lens update
When a training session is recorded or imported from the Fitness section, the calories burned are automatically added to the daily calorie goal. For example, if my goal is 2.200 kcal and I burned 400 kcal in the gym, the goal for the day is automatically updated to 2.600 kcal.
Option 2: Customizable multiple objectives
Allow you to create and save multiple nutritional objective profiles (e.g. 'Training day' and 'Rest day'), which can be programmed or activated manually from time to time, without having to change every single value every day.

Dynamic macro and calorie goals based on daily activity

I want the dietary goals (calories, carbohydrates, protein, fat) to “grow” dynamically with the activity energy spent throughout the day.
Why that's important:
I work out at a high volume and have two main dietary requirements:
- Insulin resistance: I need to adjust my carbohydrate intake precisely to my workload in order to keep my blood sugar level stable. Static goals force me to do mental math manually here.
- Muscle regeneration (protein): For athletes, it is essential that the protein target automatically adjusts upwards during heavy exercise in order to optimally support muscle protein synthesis. A static goal does not reflect the actual need for training days.
Currently, the app often tells me that I am “above the target”, even though, physiologically speaking, I only cover the additional requirements through my training. Apps like Yazio are exemplary in showing how many additional grams of protein and carbohydrates you need after one session.
Benefit:
• Health management: Precise control for users with metabolic diseases.
• Sports performance: Automated adjustment of protein intake for optimal regeneration.
• User engagement: Bevel would thus close the gap with specialized nutrition trackers and offer a true all-in-one solution.

Add Daily Caloric Burn To Nutrition Goal

The other macro app I’m currently using lets me set a base caloric goal, then any calories I burn through the day gets added to it.
Example: Base goal set to 2,000 calories, if my watch says I burned 500 - then that day I get to eat 2500 cals… it’s super useful for athletes imo, and the only thing keeping me from switching over rn

Show net calories in nutritional goals page

I am in calorie deficit everyday but when I go to the goals page it shows total calories consumed, not net calories. It makes it hard to track progress. I wish there was an easier way to track your calorie deficit.

Daily calories adjustment based on exercise.

Would be great if bevel could adjust calorie goals based on training. Some days that I’m not training or recovering my calorie goal is at TDEE . On bigger workout days I need my goal to increase and have assistant to tell me updated numbers to eat ( carbs , protein, fats).

Food logging accuracy section using weight

Perhaps make a score based on how much weight (and body fat/ lean muscle mass if necessary) to show if the food you have been logging along with the calories you have burning matches up with your weight changes.

Calorie Deficit Goal

Instead of having a static calorie limit for the day, which doesn’t work when I need more calories on work out days to maintain energy levels, can we do a calorie deficit goal instead, this would dynamically work with my exercise regime and more accurately show me some consistency for food intake

Adjusting the calorie target to activity

In addition to the fixed basal metabolic rate, the total calorie target set should be adjusted to the respective kcal burned, depending on the activity. At the moment, of course, I always exceed this.

I have POTS. This means my daily energy expenditure is inflated by my tachycardia. As such, my kcal need is wildly inflated. It would be nice if body fat percentage, which is already possible to be logged, could be used to offset that inflation. At 2100kcal my 174lb is holding pretty steady, but Bevel tells me I should be eating 3100kcal+ daily.
