Dynamic Nutrition Goals & TDEE
planned (tbd)

would be perfect to have a more complete and well-rounded nutrition section, where weight-gaining or weight-losing plans are calculated and tracked based on weight data from Apple health and science.
Weight goals should be adjusted automatically based on the pace of weight gain/loss and changes of body composition.
MacroFactor does a pretty great job at this and is very user friendly

WEEKLY CALORIES N MACROS

Time saver and honestly a lot of people like me would appreciate not having to individually count each days calories n macros in the calculator app to figure out the whole weeks range
Felipe Tappata
I agree that the nutrition goals are pretty lacking. Having previously used Foodnoms, I was very disappointed. Just to list a few functionalities I would expect:
- Macro goals can be specified in grams, calories, or percentages of energy intake (individually) and should admit over/under goals as well as ranges (e.g. I want 200 grams or more of protein, 20 to 30 percent of my calories to come from fat, and at least 2500 total calories).
- Calorie requirement should be (optionally) dynamic, adjusting based on energy from Apple Health (e.g. i want a 200 calorie deficit; active energy + bmr - 200 is the calorie goal).
- For some reason you get a 'nutrition score' and that counts red meat as a negative. I would rather be able to turn this off or have it be a function of different goals that I set.

Have macro factor like metabolic adaptation and weekly check-ins

Developing on top of the existing Bevel integration I wish it had the ability to track metabolic capacity and adapt weekly with check-ins, now in the new update. The ai can check-in and set goals based on the data, without any user input.

Option to toggle “Logged Workouts Only” for Net Energy calculation
A
Andrew Ward
Currently, the Net Energy and Nutrition dashboard uses Total Energy (Resting + all Active Energy). For many users, Apple Health’s active energy overestimates calories burned through incidental movement and steps (non-workout activity).
I am requesting a toggle to switch the Net Energy calculation to a “Conservative Mode” that only sums:
- Resting Energy (or Custom BMR)
- Active Energy from Logged Workouts only.
This would allow users to ignore the “step junk” inflation from Apple Health and track a more accurate, reliable deficit based purely on baseline metabolism and intentional exercise. This is a critical feature for users transitioning from MyFitnessPal who prefer the “BMR + Exercise” model for strict weight loss tracking.

Integration of burned calories into the daily nutritional goal
L
Lorenzo Adacher
Currently, the daily calorie goal in Bevel is a fixed value that does not take into account the calories consumed during training. This means that on the days I work out, my real calorie requirement is higher, but the app doesn't reflect it, making it difficult to properly calibrate my diet.
Two possible solutions:
Option 1 (preferred): Automatic lens update
When a training session is recorded or imported from the Fitness section (or Apple Health/HealthKit), the calories burned are automatically added to the daily calorie goal. For example, if my goal is 2.200 kcal and I burned 400 kcal in the gym, the goal for the day is automatically updated to 2.600 kcal.
Option 2 (alternative): Customizable multiple objectives
Allow you to create and save multiple nutritional objective profiles (e.g. 'Training day' and 'Rest day'), to be activated manually from time to time, without having to change every single value every day.
both solutions would eliminate the current disconnect between the Fitness and Nutrition sections, making tracking much more accurate for those who train regularly and follow a structured eating plan.

Weight loss/maintain weight/weight gain

Would be good to see a place in the app where you can input your long term goal and then see what calories you need to eat to achieve that over set time…

Dynamic calorie goal

As of right now calorie goal is fixed at a number, would be great if you can toggle a dynamic calorie daily intake, based on BMR, and how much burned or movement calories (apple health move ring) you have in the day. That way calorie goal is more realistic and based on what you actually do day to day.

Adjust objectives (cal, fats, carbs, protein) in days with activities

I think it would be better to have my objectives adapted to my daily activities. When I do my workout I burn more calories, but I would like to stay on a consistent-300cal deficit. At the moment the objectives do not take this into consideration.
