1 thing missing
Tomek Gniewko Bielak
I feel like there is one thing missing i.e.
Yesterday i had 2 beers, and takeaway late at night. Then:
Slept long and good (76% sleep score) - fair
Woke up with poor recovery (16% ) - fair
Strain target was really low - maybe bit low
Then i stayed in bed for about 6 hours, with low stress and started feeling bored and felt like i am recovering etc, so went had an amazing workout and im glad i did.
i really like the fact the 3 main rings are set and dont change, but Shouldn't there be one more ring thats dynamic? Which adds i.e earned strain or earned recovery ?
I might be wrong maybe my data isnt sinced well yet i only have the app for few days but it has history for months as ive been using different apps

Can’t wait for this feature

Grey I had an idea for this. It would be super cool if underneath (z axis) you could show stress categories (i.e. bar graph showing stress at that time) colored based on low-medium-high. Just adds a bit more context to what was occurring at that moment.
Grey
Dylan Mace: that's going to be in V1 :)

Grey fantastic. Excited to see this, and if you need a beta tester I’m still praying to get off the beta #2 google form list 😁

Whilst building this, it would be great to have a complication to show the energy bank reserve

Is it possible to add in this and stress to the watch app while building? It can be hard to just look at the complications and/or Smart Stack.

Body battery similar to the Garmin app

We need this so bad. This is the tempting part of going back to Garmin
Si
Wow! Yes please.
I would divide energy reserve into 1.Short term daily reserve.
- Long term accumulated energy stores and call it resilience.
The more we have accumulate excess energy like sleep credit, increasing fitness, decreased stress on consecutive days, the more is added to our long term energy reserves. And vice versa.
That would take this app and Apple Watch to the next level.

Grey this could be a stupid question but are you sure there aren’t patents on this? Seems like calling it body battery and stuff could be a legal risk… even if it’s still measuring body energy levels is there a different way of presenting the data or something that will make sure you stay in the clear?
Grey
Dylan Mace: There's no patents on body battery and also, I don't have any insider information as for how they created it.
But you're right, Body Battery is trademarked by Garmin. I will call it something else, either just Battery or Energy Reserve. If you have ideas, let me know!

Grey I would call it Energy Bank or like you said Energy Reserve and avoid the word battery all together.

Grey any update on the timeline for this? Seems like you pivoted from this being the next feature to some more of the sleep features.
Grey
Dylan Mace: That's still on the way. I realized that naps needed to be implemented first before Energy Bank can be useful since nap will allow the Energy Bank to be recharged during the day.

Gotcha that makes sense.
