Add ability to export Journal entries data
Vitalii Rudnykh
I'd like to request the ability to export all Journal entries from Bevel to an external format.
As someone who tracks my daily metrics in Bevel's Journal, I want to be able to access my historical data outside the app for:
- Personal data backup and ownership
- Custom analysis and visualization
- Integration with other quantified-self tools
- Long-term archival
Suggested implementation (any of these would work):
- File export: JSON, CSV, or XML download option within the app
- API access: Endpoint to programmatically retrieve journal entries
- Integration: Export to common services (Google Sheets, etc.)
Expected data fields:
- Entry date/timestamp
- All tracked metrics and their values

You are building various reports into different areas of the app. You are going to build more comprehensive reports (eg analyze heart function and recovery, analyze training, diet, nutrition, etc). Each should have ability to process the report data, whether it be SAVE PDF to device (local files or cloud storage, Google Drive, Apple iCloud, Microsoft OneDrive). This could be done manually via UI.. but also scheduled for report to be created and saved in the background. Perhaps this is done by file naming (timestamp & type of report, revision) and/or folder structure (by date) for various reports. The user could then review reports directly outside of the app… and could also process in AI platform for further deeper analysis. You could create dashboard using AI agents to represent this in portal… and could share to cardiologist, family doctor, nutritionist, etc… either thru cloud storage link or portal. ;).

I’d like to export my nutrition data so that I can analyze it more in depth Especially around variety of foods and micro nutrients. II’d like it in a CSV format. This would be helpful information to share with my Dietitian

+1 for the export feature. It's really important to me to allow saving my personal health in a digital readable format for storing and manual processing. Please, please, please allow a simple export of all data. Thanks!

Additional Shortcuts, esp. retrieving data

More shortcuts, especially to retrieve data would be useful. For example, 'Get Energy', 'Get Recovery', etc.
Use Case Examples:
- Suppose an automated shortcut where I dim the lights during evening time. If I could 'Get Energy' then I could also add a colour tint to my lights depending on my energy, which would be a nice visual indicator during my evening and could give me a reminder to relax or sleep sooner.
- Suppose another automated shortcut where when I come home from work, my stress score is retrieved and the shortcut uses my stress score to set up app limits accordingly so that I don't doom scroll (which is something I do when stress score is high).

I’d love if food data could be exported as well in something like a csv to show name of food, calories, etc

Bump +1 - I'd love the ability to export historical nutritional entries. With the advent of AI agents, we need some way of accessing our data outside the app.
