Feature Request: Sleep-to-Sleep Strain Calculation (Not Midnight-Based)

I’ve been enjoying using Bevel for tracking my fitness and recovery, and I truly appreciate the insights it provides. However, I’d like to suggest a feature enhancement that would make the app even more useful for users like me.
Feature Request:
Could you add an option to calculate
daily strain based on sleep-to-sleep cycles
rather than the traditional midnight-to-midnight timeframe? Many fitness and recovery metrics (like HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep quality) are naturally tied to our sleep patterns, not arbitrary calendar dates. A sleep-to-sleep strain calculation would better reflect how exertion and recovery interact in real-world physiological terms. Why This Matters:
- Alignment with Circadian Rhythm: Strain accumulated from one wake-up time to the next would provide a more accurate picture of daily effort and recovery.
- User Flexibility: For shift workers, travelers, or those with irregular schedules, this would offer a more personalized and meaningful metric.
- Consistency with Recovery Metrics:** Since sleep quality and recovery are already tracked per sleep cycle, integrating strain this way would create a more cohesive data story.
I believe this change could significantly improve how users interpret their data and make informed decisions about training and rest.
