Add fibre as a key macronutrient

it would be great to have fat, carbohydrates, fibre, protein as the main macronutrients tracked, especially as fibre helps to balance carb intake in the diet and it's crucial for a lot of gastrointestinal problems to maintain fibre intake. to see it next to those other 3 in the widget and the main nutrition page would be ideal

It would be nice if the daily fiber intake could be displayed more prominently.

Would be great to add a fibre goal that shows alongside the fat, carbs and protein goals

Even better would be a breakdown of soluble and insoluble fibre. Both important for different reasons.

I also want a bigger emphasis on fiber, it’s perhaps the second most tracked nutrient besides protein?
Currently, you can set a goal for it, and then click into nutrition, click goals, scroll down and find it. That’s not really an accessible enough spot for fiber
I would recommend considering adding it as a food quality contributor, considering it at a macro level like the post says here, or at least allowing it in the top level goals widget. That or some kind of new key micronutrients section

I would like to see how I am progressing towards my fiber intake goal, just as well as fat, carbs and proteins.

I think it’s very important Fiber gets added to nutrition. More and more studies are showing it’s extremely important for gut health which affects everything including energy and long term health

Hi Alex Garcia, are you referring to the Nutrition Facts for some foods? Fiber is tracked. Some labels don't include fiber, but the ones that do should show it.
If you see that a food is missing fiber that exists on their nutrition label, feel free to report it and we can take a look.

Hi Amanda I think he means putting fibre up with fats/protein/carbs in the macronutrients highlights instead of us having to be able to search for them and then adding to our targets. As people should be consuming betwee 21-30g fibre a day for women (slightly higher for men 30-38g ) depending on age.
