Similar to other logging apps. The ability when searching to shows recently consumed or often logged for when I have the right item found.

When I go to add a new food and hit search, I see the most recent foods. Are you expecting something different? I agree that it could be useful to have the option to set the results to be "most often used" versus "most recent".

Hi Randell, I do see the recent logs when not searching, but once I start searching for a food, the search results doesn't consider the recent logs while ideally I'd like to see what I entered previously shows on top of the search results.
For example, a few days ago I logged this Honey Waffle from Honey Stinger, and now I want to quickly log the same item, I can scroll to find the item in the recent logs but it's takes some time to find it; when I search for "Waffle" the previous item isn't in the search results either. My proposal is that when searching for "waffle" it'd be great to have a section named "previously entered items" that show matching partial search results if there's any.
Does that make sense? Please see the images attached below for visual explanation.
Image 1: when not searching, there's the item I wanted to log.
Image 2: when searching, there's no recent logged items in the search results.
Image 3: proposal, add a recent section in parallel with common and branded sections.
Thank you in advance!
Randell
Hi Ethan W, When you enter or log food via Nutrition "+" -> Search food, it should show your recent logs below. Is this not working for you? or if you are asking something different here, can you please clarify?

When searching for a food, it’d be great to have previously entered food show up in the first section for quick access. Currently I have to use “favorites” as a workaround but that’s not ideal. Thanks!
