Biology: Show bloodwork & biomarkers

Something like this? Not only automatically connected with some sanitary app, but also by manually entering them or even better, using the camera and AI, showing it the paper with the bloodworks and it autopopulate the fields.
It could even communicate with nutrition and food to help you understand correlations of what you eat and your bloodwork results.
AI could find correlations between your habits and blood results(like a period of time you were more exposed to sun and had higher vitamin D results).
Just ideas.

Import supplements and lab testing + analyze trends
Zachary Eklov
I don’t find a ton of utility in the journal feature because it’s a lot of manual work to make sure it’s accurate. What I would find super helpful is being able to scan my supplement stack and set a frequency that I take those so they automatically populate daily and then track those against lab values I could import in. This is helpful for using supplements or even lifestyle modifications to then track progress.
For example, I am currently a Function Health member and am trying to reduce some my out of range biomarkers. I am making exercise, diet and supplement changes and then tracking how those changes impact my biomarkers and then making adjustments from there. It would be awesome to be able to track these trends in the app.
So my request boils down to:
- Ability to scan supplements to easily track in the app
- Ability to important lab values (e.g. Function Health)
- Ability to track behaviors and interventions to analyze trends and what works for my body.

Blood Results Integration for Personalized Training & Nutrition
Berkin Nergis
It would be very valuable if the app could include an option to input blood test results (e.g., iron, vitamin D, magnesium, cholesterol, glucose).
Based on these values, the software could then:
• Highlight possible deficiencies and suggest relevant foods or supplements.
• Recommend training adaptations (e.g., focus more on cardio if cardiovascular markers are weak, or strength work if energy metabolism markers are solid).
• Score and visualize how current nutrition and recovery align with optimal ranges.
• Provide reminders for follow-up tests or adjustments over time.
This feature would bring training and recovery tracking one step closer to a holistic health management tool, combining performance with real physiological data.

Blood sugar

Is it possible to be able to take into account the test results done with my Contour reader? I don't see it and I have no data that seems to be taken into account by Bevel! Thanks

Importability of medical tests/investigations
Nicolas Jérôme Katzer
Blood sugar is already more or less integrated (although here, too, accurate measurements of long-term sugar and medication taken would be nice to be able to import or enter them directly and receive background analyses and final health recommendations adjusted accordingly; see request here: https://feedback.bevel.health/feature-requests/p/bolus-calculator-insulin-tracking-for-type-1-diabetics). However, many other diseases (be it hypertension, metabolic diseases in general, or accidents/diseases associated with medication) completely lack the opportunity to include this in Bevel! This is not about medically correct recording of effects and/or dosage recommendations for medication (I know that is not possible), but much more about completing the presentation of individual health, as well as possible findings (when integrated into AI analysis) as to which habits also tend to have an effect on the known disease/medication/symptoms!
... my case as a more precise example: had heart valve surgery and am immune with a mechanical valve on the go, so I have to take blood thinners (Marcoumar) in an appropriate dose to keep the coagulation (i.e. clotting of my blood) within the target range set by doctors. To do this, I regularly measure my blood myself (via a so-called INR value). I would like to feed this into Bevel to find out from Bevel that apply to me personally, such as the effects of vitamin K, stress, and sport on my INR.
... I very strongly assume that I am not the only one with this case and that patients with other diseases/medications/symptoms would also benefit enormously from such an implementation!
Nicolas Jérôme Katzer
... maybe as an additional explanation of how I could imagine an implementation on the software side:
Logging medication/measurements/symptoms, including strength/value and time (morning, noon, evening, fasting or with a meal?) enable. It is best to embed a tab so that it is clear for background analyses what it is (whether medication, measurement or symptom). Please DO NOT rely on everything being tracked and synchronized in Apple Health - Apple Health is also limited and I can NOT feed in my INR values, for example! Manual input directly into Bevel is therefore important! Also, please check whether medications tracked in Apple Helath are being synchronized - I couldn't discover any such permission when setting up Bevel.
For background calculation and analyses, specific models can then be calculated/activated for each category, although the actual medication/measurement/symptom can/must initially be considered unknown for algorithms and AI in order to cover as wide a range as possible and not directly restrict users again... Only after a certain period of time with enough collected data could any frequently collected medications/measures/symptoms be identified separately for simplified tracking and refined with specific algorithms and AI recommendations become.
... feel free to contact me if my remarks are (partly) incomprehensible and I can repeat in other words.

(Please also read my comment on this, it does not “only” concern blood sugar measurements!)
And yes, Apple Health unfortunately limits which data can be entered (not all can be entered).

Log blood work and treatments
R
Rowan Page
I have hereditary haemochromotosis, so have frequent blood tests done and then donate blood frequently to manage ferretin levels. I am sure there are many other examples where people would like to track blood tests results and also track when they have treatments.
I would really like to be able to add any custom blood tests, specify the unit of measure, add upper and lower tracking limits. Then I want to see on a chart my measurements plotted with the option to add a marker when a treatment was done.
So in an ideal world I would see my ferretin levels climb, as they reach the upper limit I would log a treatment, and then the level would go down near the lower limit.

Biomarker Sync

Long-term, I’d be buzzing if Beval let me upload or sync bloodwork (like InsideTracker or Forth) and spot patterns with my recovery, HRV, or sleep trends. Could tie together lifestyle + internal metrics properly.

Upload & Analyze Blood Values
Daniel
It would be cool to allow uploading all blood values from the doctor and getting a good-looking overview of all the values, seeing if it's above, below, or right in the recommended spectrum. Also, it would be cool to get specific recommendations on how to improve certain values. And also to see progression over time if I upload new reports in the future. And based on all the values, it could give an overall blood/health score.
