Hi - can bevel start pulling more data like HRV from Garmin? There are many Garmin users out there who aren’t getting the full bevel experience
Randell
Hi Joe Manget, This is on our roadmap. I'll merge this with a similar existing ticket for you. Thanks for the suggestion!

I am also patiently waiting for this. Please make it happen!

Hi Higinio Ayala Gutiérrez, If the data can be written to Apple Health from Garmin, then Bevel should be able to pull this one.
It seems like Garmin is not capable of doing this as when I was checking on this matter: https://www.reddit.com/r/Garmin/comments/13xts3k/can_i_automatically_import_my_vo2max_from_garmin/
We have a planned ticket for an Integration with Garmin API, we can check and see if this is something that we can add to it.
I will close this ticket for now.

I trialed the subscription and think the app’s presentation of data is fantastic and significantly better than Garmin. Automatic HRV import is necessary to making use of this. Please keep us updated on timing for implementation, so I can revisit. Thank you.

Chris Janisch I am currently hacking the HRV into Apple Health via a shortcut. Every morning I take the three average readings (nightly HRV, respiratory rate and pulse ox) and from the Garmin Morning Report and transfer them with a iOS shortcut. It takes about 30 seconds. It obviously isn't as ideal as taking the entire HRV from my time asleep, but it's the average and so far I have been impressed with how well it translates that info into a usable recovery reading. Fingers crossed though, for an official integration via API!

Phil Baeuml hi, can you elaborate on how you do this please? Thank you.
Phil Baeuml
mark allard basically I just have a quick glance in GC every morning to see what my overnight average HRV, breathing rate and spO2 were. Then I launch a shortcut from iOS shortcuts which asks for those exact three values and deposits them in apple health together with a 3am time stamp. After that Bevel either already pings me with the recovery or I open the app and refresh.

Phil Baeuml Do you find the stress levels throughout the day in Bevel reliable based on whatever it pulls from Garmin?
Also, did you switch the calculations for these metrics to Apple?
Phil Baeuml
Kevin Stress I don’t pay much attention to, as I have live stress as a complication on my Garmin. The high values do line up with Garmin at the end of the day for sure. But the sampling rate from GConnect to Apple Health is simply too low. The battery and body battery however match up pretty well (between 3-5% points), which ich also very good considering Garmin doesn’t write beat to beat to Apple health

Sync hrv from Garmin connect to Bevel

Would allow me to use a garmin watch with Bevel - currently Apple health will read the sleep and exertion from that’s logged by my Garmin and display it in Bevel, but not the HRV - even though the garmin does calculate average nightly hrv using rmssd.
