Custom Diet Plans and Quick Meal Logging
G
Gaurav Singh
Hello Babel Health Team,
I’d like to request a feature to streamline diet tracking for users who follow a consistent eating routine.
Many users, including myself, consume largely repetitive meals (around 70% of daily intake). It would be highly beneficial to have the ability to create and save custom diet plans that can be reused.
Specifically, I’m requesting:
- The ability to create predefined daily diet plans with selected meals and meal timings
- An option to assign a specific plan to certain days, OR set a single plan as the default for every day
- A quick “copy meals” function to duplicate a previous day’s intake (e.g., yesterday or any selected past date) to the current or future date
While manual logging works, this feature would significantly reduce friction, improve consistency, and make long-term tracking more practical.
This functionality already exists in several competing apps, and implementing it would greatly enhance efficiency and user experience within Babel Health.
Thank you for considering this request.
Best regards,
Gaurav

Hi Gaurav Singh I’ll go ahead and submit this as a feature request. In the meantime, have you tried using recipes or custom foods to quickly log repeat meals? You can also create a check-in with Bevel Intelligence that asks what you ate and log it right away.

Hi Leah,
Yes, I do use recipes for quick logging, but I’m looking for a more structured approach.
I’d like a diet planning feature where I can pre-plan my full day (recipes + foods) with set meal times. When it’s time, the app should send a notification to confirm the meal, with an option to edit before logging.
Recipes help with speed, but not planning, this would make tracking much more efficient.
Thanks,
Gaurav

Meal log (batch cooking)
K
Kevin Evano
Good morning,
As part of a controlled diet, I would like to plan my meals and snacks for the day in advance of the day and over several days (as on Yagio).
This would allow better monitoring and adjustment, than today in case of non-calculation beforehand, to find yourself not eating anything or too much or adjusting the macros.
And above all make it visible in the caloric count (we are completely blind) which makes it unusable in its current state.
Thanks in any case for your work it's a great application.

Auto-food logging

There are a few things I eat daily around a consistent time frame. It would be great to have that auto-logged daily reducing my inputs slightly that I don’t change portions for anyway.

Allow planning for regular consumer foods/meals that are auto added to your food log.

Cronometer has a feature that allows you to save foods/meals you eat on a regular basis, i.e. in my case I start my day daily with lemon water, or I know I have the same kind of coffee daily. Instead of me having to log it each day, there is a feature that allows me to save the food together with a time when I consume it and instead of me having to add it each day, it is then automatically added to my day.

Enter next day's food

It would be great if I could enter the food from the next day and then also see the calories I'm eating that day. This would help with meal planning and weekly shopping. I can currently enter food z.B for tomorrow but I don't see the calories, macros, etc.

Meal prep set and forget

To be able to record your meal prep meals at the start of the week and set and forget. Maybe be able to choose how many days you repeat the meals. Like maybe you only meal prep for five days an eat what you want on the weekend

Make It A Meal Option After Adding Food

When you added your foods (breakfast for example), it would be nice to make it a meal instantly. If you eat the same meal over multiple days, it’s easier to have it saved. MyFitnessPal offers this feature, I used it a lot (before switching to Bevel ;) )

Advanced Meal Scheduling & Custom Recurrence

I think it would be a huge help if people could plan their meals a week or two in advance. It’d also be great to have a 'recurring' option where you could set a food to repeat only on specific days and automatically stop appearing after a certain date.

Other food tracking apps have done a better job of allowing us to import recipes instead of adding ingredient by ingredient, which is really a high friction point for tracking. II love cooking with my Thermo mix which integrates recipes right into the cooking process and allows me to know by the gram how much I’m putting in. Importing. a recipe a nd all it’s ingredients is the missing step. I can do it in my fitness pal—why not here?

Kristina Leach you can bulk add or even add a screenshot and it will add all ingredients in bulk.

Damian Holt Thank you Damian. I have figured out a couple work arounds like you suggest, but it would be nice to be able to just drop a link in to the online and have everything drop in.
