Menstrual Tracking and associations with recovery

I find it really useful to track patterns in different stages of a menstrual cycle (follicular and luteal) and would be great and really well rounded to see this incorporated in the Bevel app from data on Apple Health. For eg. day of the cycle, phase and associated recovery, sleep and exertion.

I would love it if the menstrual cycle and its phases were also taken into account.

It would be nice if you could see on the homepage which cycle phase you are in and when the next period is expected to arrive.

Adjustment of nutrition, sleep and activity goals based on cycle stage
Anna Yadlovskaya
Hi team,
Cycle consideration it the key to a balancing activity and daily health and well-being for women. O noticed, that half of recommendations should be adjusted based on the cycle stage.
Would be great, if you can adjust it accordingly!
Best, Hanna

The ability to track the female cycle and take the phases into account accordingly in the evaluation and recommendations would be very helpful. In my opinion, this is the only point in which WHOOP is currently ahead. I like everything else about Bevel much better.

Hi Margit Krogler, we've scheduled a ticket where you can see more detailed menstrual cycle tracking data. I'll merge this ticket for you!
For now, you can activate this tracking in the journal. To do this, simply go to Bevel -> Journal -> 3-dot icon -> Customize Journal -> Swipe left and tap on “Reproductive Health.” Activate the option.

Randell this is nowhere near good enough! Your competitor uses Apple Health data to track our cycles and recommends strain based upon the phase of our cycles. Your journal is asking us to manually log information ourselves and does not seem to adjust recommendations whatsoever.
The former seems to be planned - any updates on that?

Monitoring the female cycle and its impacts

Is it possible to have a more specific monitoring of the menstrual cycle to measure its impact on physical fitness? In the Clue application (dedicated to women) it is difficult to make the link between physical activity, sleep quality and the menstrual cycle.
Thank you
Amanda
Hi Lauranne Chemisky, we intend to make women's cycle tracking information more comprehensive!

It would be a game changer for those of us who menstruate to have automatic insights on how different parts of our cycle impact recovery/sleep. It took way too long for me to piece together that my luteal phase (before period) consistently was correlated with terrible recovery scores.

In particular, the specification of cycle days in order to be able to see connections between cycle phase and recovery/energy/ etc.

Indeed, I think that more options in monitoring women's cycles would be a real plus. Being able to correlate the phases of the cycle with the quality of sleep, the speed of recovery, the capacity to exercise or the diet would be a real plus. These options are not available in applications like Clue, and that would be a real help.
