More detailed AI recognition of food photos

I have recently used a homemade app with Lovely which used a prebuilt AI recognition tool that more accurately described what it was seeing and that composition of nutritional values. For instance, I and a friend both recently used our tools to find the makeup of a halloumi and grilled chicken burger and his app recognised the fried halloumi and grilled chicken where bevel’s response missed the cheese and was generic in its recognition of food.

Leah hi Leah,
I did use Bevel Intelligence on my device and compared the results to bespoke app on a similar Apple device and the nutrician and detailed description of what it saw and how it composed the calorie and nutrition estimates was extremely detailed whereas bevel clearly missed the detail, an ingredient and underestimated the calories and abbreviated the nutrition. I love the idea of taking a picture of your food and having ai identify what it is and add it to your intake. The current version of bevel intelligence needs refining and I raise this topic as it took a less technical friend to create a very robust app from an open source resource to create something remarkable. His motivation and vested interest in accuracy is due to him being a diabetic.
