Nutrition: Copy food

It would be very useful to be able to copy foods from a previous day, especially since I used the AI to record what I ate so I don't have a recipe for it. It's also useful when creating a recipe based on another one I have. Like if they share 90% of ingredients it's very tedious to manually enter everything again

Copy/Paste meals like Cronometer

Similar to Chronometer, I would like to be able to go back and reuse certain meals, foods, or food combinations from past days. It would be even better if I could break up foods between meals like breakfast, lunch, and so on, just like in Chronometer.

Note to the team: lots of these features are already available in the Lifesum app which would be a good role model to look at 🙏🏻

Yes this would be great! Many of us meal prep and eat the same or similar things across multiple meals and even around the same time. It would also be good to show the nutrition metrics for future dates as we load them in. Currently if I load tomorrow’s food, I don’t see the macros

Hi, what's the roadmap for this? This is the #1 feature I loved in Cronometer that I would love to have on Bevel. It saves me so much time and encourages me to eat the same food for more consistent eating.

Food should be copiable/transferable to other days.

Copying previous days food

For nutrition, it would be great if we can just copy food from the previous day for example I ate the same lunch two days in a row. I imagine this being a common need because a lot of people meal plan and they’re eating the same thing. I think it is possible, but there’s way too many clicks to get there. It would be great if it was just one button.

Copy/Duplicate Recipe
Matthew Copeland
I make a variety of different bowls and burritos for meal prep but change ingredients base on what I have on hand. It would be nice to be able to copy one of my recipes and make changes based on new ingredients. Maybe when you hit "Add Recipe", there is an option to start with an existing recipe as a template. Similar to how you can duplicate a workout template.

Add option to duplicate nutrition entry
Tiago Rodrigues
On the Nutrition timeline, allow to duplicate an entry to a new time / day.
Either by long press on the timeline or use the existing 3 dots menu. (Or both)
When trying to entry something you eaten in the morning or even a few days before, it is easier to go to that item and duplicate. Bonus points if the new timestamp on the duplicated item is =to NOW (current time and date)
This will also reduce costs of your api and backend, special the image photo or describe that use more compute resources, so the user have another entry option and you save on server bills. 😛

Similar to MyFitnessPal, would make it easier to Ender duplicate data from previous days
