Nutrition: Copy food
planned (soon)
S
Stefan
It would be very useful to be able to copy foods from a previous day, especially since I used the AI to record what I ate so I don't have a recipe for it. It's also useful when creating a recipe based on another one I have. Like if they share 90% of ingredients it's very tedious to manually enter everything again

Right now, all of the meals for the day appear in one timeline. As the day goes on, it gets harder to quickly find or review specific meals. It would be really helpful if food entries were organized into sections like Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks.
It would also be great if there were an easy way to copy meals from previous days. For example, being able to tap “Copy from Yesterday” (or choose another previous day) for each meal section would make logging much faster for people who eat similar meals regularly.
Thanks!

Ability to copy the entire day of food from the previous day with a single click so that you do not have to type everything again.

Improve the Nutrition Log

In it’s current state, the nutrition log is barely functional, but not very comfortable to use. There are basically three minor features every competitor out there offers but that are missing in Bevel, which wo improve the experience by a lot:
1) Copy Items from one day to another. Right now you have to use Bevel Intelligence for that. It works, but it takes a hell of a long time and it consumes unnecessary tokens. A simple copy and paste button or date select would make the handling already so much easier
2) sort the log into meals. Currently the log is a mess. If you want to check on something you have to scroll to a whole list of items and always have to ask yourself: Was this a meal or just a snack I had? It makes planning a lot harder than it needs to be
3) Future logs should be visible. If today I log something for tomorrow, I can not see it in my nutrition log properly. I always have to rely on BI - again, time and token consuming and not a feasible option long term

Ability to set a maximum daily calorie total. For example 1800 calories per day like on my fitness pal.

Save food logs as a saved food

It would be nice if when logging a food there was an option to save everything that is staged as a saved food, so repeat items (for example, a morning smoothie with banana, blueberries, milk & protein powder) can be called on at a touch of a button without having to add multiple different foods every time you’re having it

Being able to copy a recurrent food entry or meal (even better) to another date would be great.

Duplicate last meal

Sometimes we repeat our meals through the day. It would be quick to simply ‘repeat last meal’ with a new time entry.

Another column in food (as historically) only with the previous day would make tracking much easier in some cases
