Hi Bevel,
I'm loving the app for metrics and in particular stress, recovery, and sleep insights. As an Apple Watch user, you're providing the HRV driven analysis that it's otherwise missing. Thing is, I'm a professionally coached athlete, and so while the TRIMP graph and strain are useful metrics, the coaching and target strain suggestions of Bevel are useless. I'm going to follow my coach's training plan regardless of this app. I saw in other tickets you're looking to build even more "coaching" features in.
Please, can you provide a way to set the app to an information only mode that does not purport to be a coach?
Separate but related to this, the 1-month strain score graph seems to need its weighting adjusted, as in it's not wide enough. The 3-month graph correctly shows my generally staying with target, but the 1-month just constantly pings above and below. I would suggest replacing the 1-month graph with 42 days to be in line with the definition of CTL (Chronic Training Load). This is closer to a month and a half, and the extra two weeks helps reduce the effects of a rest week in the data analysis.
Finally, also separate but related to this, the TRIMP graph (cardio load) really curiously assigns a notion of detraining, maintaining, productive, productive, etc. to each and every day. Traditionally in a training impulse analysis, these modes are assigned only after a period of time indicating a switch from one to another. That is to say, they do not change day-to-day or workout-to-workout but are more like a multi-week trend. This is manifesting itself in Bevel being incredibly silly and telling me that I am detraining on my recovery days. Which, if you know anything about training, is literally the opposite of how recovery works ;) Actually, "recovery" as a status is conspicuously missing.
Thanks, like the app a lot, just hope it can be configured for my use case!
