Permanent tab bar and other navigation efficiency enhancements

With the app growing quickly, I find that I'm doing a lot of tapping which would be fixed with a permanent tab bar. For example, say you're looking at the Primary sleep and want to add a nutrition entry. You have to swipe down, click the back button, then can click the + icon. Same thing if you just wanted to move from Primary sleep and look at Recovery. I find myself doing a lot of swipe downs and backs to switch context, when clicking the tab bar would be quicker. All those extra taps add up when I'm checking everything out first thing in the morning!
I think the tab bar should be permanent and also include Nutrition. Better yet, allow the user to configure it. Of course having 5 primary tabs would make the action + off center which no one wants 😂 With iOS 26, I think having a tab bar like Music (see photo) with Home | Journal | Nutrition | Fitness | Biology on it, then the action + be a floating button like Music has for search.
A permanent tab bar would mean the Bevel AI could be context-aware for every screen since the + button will always be visible!
Another thing I would like to see is a 2nd tap on a tab icon would scroll to the top of that page. For example if you're on Fitness and click Home, it remembers the scroll position. Click again and it scrolls to top. I know you can tap top of screen, but 2 quick taps without having to move your thumb is quicker. Plus, my thumb is fat and accuracy clicking the status bar is tough!
The app is one of the most beautiful I've seen, but these navigation improvements would make the UX even better!
