Sick days

I've been ill for the past few days so the ability to pause or have the illness taken into account for the recovery and strain statistics would be good...

Pause tracking

Maybe it’s already a feature and I don’t know about it. If not, it’d be nice to have a feature to pause tracking on everything. I took two weeks off and I wish I could pause it all cuz I don’t want it to ruin my averages, etc

Hi Patrick Drahman, Thanks for the suggestion! This is already on our roadmap. Let me merge this to an existing ticket for you.

Rest days based on cardio load

Brad Kins
Bevel recommends strain targets without factoring in overall cardio load. Other apps like Gentler Streak suggest rest days when cardio load is too high, but Bevel keeps pushing workouts every day to meet the strain target. This means I have to use two apps—one for strain and one for recovery. Bevel should include rest day recommendations based on cardio fitness so we’re not overtraining, leading to burnout or injury.

Sickness Tracker

Marking Sickness in the Journal should automatically pause any training recommendations and link all relevant health marker (hrv, etc.) to the sickness status. Also there should be a warning sign to not start cardio too early after being sick. This is important for sports addicted people!

Hopefully this can be something that effects all the calculations and allows us to set goals and is a key part of the app, similiar to woop

Training Mode or Goal

Can we please have an option to switch training goals in the app. For example if injured then would like to set it to recovery or rehab mode vs when trying to train for a competition or a race or even maintenance mode. This way the suggestions match with the current goals.
Thank you in advance!
