Rest Timer between Sets

There is one factor missing, which in my opinion can be crucial especially for progressive overloading the workouts.
This factor is the "Rest Period/Timer" between sets and exercises. This was, at least for me, one of the deciding factors for leaving the Whoop ecosystem and their Strength functionality.
I really love the Superset app and all the functionalities but I am really hoping you are planning of adding this in the near future.
Thank you for all your amazing work.

Add a stopwatch and timer to the exercise session
Ricardo Isaac Cid
When you start an exercise in the app you should have the possibility to add a separate timer to the repetitions or rest times. There are some exercises that are AMRAP (as many repetitions as possible) in a certain amount of time and if I can't set a timer from there, I have to jump between apps during my training.

Adding specific rest times to workout templates
Ethan Emmett
I use the workout templates for all of my training, but some of my exercises require different rest intervals between sets. Could we add a specific rest interval timer between sets and exercises?

The lowest test time in between sets is 15 seconds can you add additional options of 10 seconds or the option to have zero?

Custom Rest Timer Per Exercise/Set

I’d love to see the option to set individual rest timers for each exercise or even each set within my workout plan in Bevel. Right now, the app only lets me set a single, global rest timer, which isn’t ideal. Many training routines need different rest periods for specific exercises to make the most of my workouts and recover properly.

Add Heart Rate–Based Rest Timer Option
Michael Skelton
Problem:
While custom rest timers between sets are helpful, they rely on fixed durations that don’t always reflect actual recovery. Many users, myself included, reference heart rate to decide when to begin the next set, but Bevel doesn’t currently support this as a rest trigger.
Solution:
Introduce the option to set user-defined heart rate thresholds for rest timers. For example,
“Heart Rate <100”
could trigger a specific haptic feedback to signal readiness for the next set.Benefit:
This makes rest timing adaptive and personalized, aligning recovery prompts with individual physiology rather than arbitrary time intervals. It improves workout efficiency, reduces guesswork, and ensures training intensity is managed more effectively.

Please add a set timer between exercises.

This is literally the only thing that the app misses. When you add it I will immediately switch the app I use to track the workouts to Bevel

Unfortunately with the new release today this basic feature hasn't even been incorporated :/. It's really crucial that we should be able to set different rest time for each exercise and also for each set. I believe many had the expectations that the new redesigned strength would be very comprehensive, however there are so many features lacking like this one. Also, the ability to include HIIT exercises. I'd suggest to really take a look at some established workout tracking apps and all the features they include.

Conner D yes, but it's a rest timer for all exercises and sets, you can't customize rest time for each exercise or sets, that's the whole point of this topic if you may have missed it. For example, in my routine I have different rest times for the sets (warm up sets it's x seconds, for the main sets it's x seconds).

A timer that can be adjusted between exos

The timers to be set in the settings are insufficient. At the beginning of each exercise have a choice in the form of a roulette to give the time 45 seconds or 1 min or 1 min 30. Adjustable to the second or to the timers that we pre-record.
Thank you
