Running Workouts / Display Structured Intervals from Apple/Garmin Watch Workouts
complete

Michele Mascia
Hello,
I would like to give some feedback regarding the workout data imported from the Apple Watch into Bevel.
When I record a structured workout on Apple Fitness — for example interval sessions with planned repeats — Apple Fitness shows each interval clearly, including the duration and pace of every individual repetition, as you can see in the attached screenshots.
However, in Bevel I can only see the standard kilometer splits, not the actual intervals of the workout.
It would be extremely useful if Bevel could also display the planned intervals exactly as they were executed (e.g., each 1,000 m repeat with its time, pace, and heart rate), instead of only showing the generic 1-km splits.
This feature would make Bevel much more accurate and helpful for athletes who use structured workouts or interval training.
Thank you in advance for considering this improvement.

This is now available in 3.1.0! Just open Bevel Intelligence and ask it to create a cardio workout (e.g., "Build a running workout with 5 x 1km intervals"), then tap Start on Apple Watch

Evaluate run intervals better

Thomas Lautenschlager
In the training plan, I should run four intervals under a certain time. Unfortunately, Bevel cannot evaluate the intervals according to time but after 1 km. As a result, it is not recognized whether I have completed the intervals or not

Running/cycling workouts native

Why don't you add the ability to create and record structured running or cycling workouts in the Apple Watch app?
At least let them be created from the app and sent to Apple Workouts.
It's absurd that you've given the opportunity to create training plans in the chat but there's no way to execute them 😅

Cycling & Running workout templates (+ Bluetooth sensor support)
T
Timo Weigelt
Love the app for gym stuff, the workout templates are great. But I’d really like to see templates for cycling and running too, not just gym sessions.
The dream would be something that could replace apps like the Wahoo app for structured sessions, so I don’t have to juggle multiple apps.
A few things that would make this happen: cycling templates with structured workouts (intervals, endurance rides, etc.), running templates in the same way (easy runs, tempo, intervals, long runs), and Bluetooth device support so I can pair sensors like power meters, heart rate straps, cadence and speed sensors.
Basically being able to connect a power meter and run a structured cycling session, or do a guided run, all inside Bevel instead of switching to another app.
Would love to know if this is on the roadmap or if anyone else would find this useful!

Import more granular run data
J
Jonathan Newton
Tracking runs using Apple fitness gives me super granular detail about pace, cadence, hr instead of just 1km splits. I can scroll through and see my pace at any given moment which is super useful for a run where I might have 0.5km warm up, 4km, then 0.5km cooldown. Apple fitness has the granular data to see this but bevel only imports 1km splits so it looks like (and BI thinks) I’ve only done 3km at full pace

Add More Exercises, Stretches, and Better Running Tracking

Many common exercises and stretches are missing from the app, including stretches like Cat-Cow. Expanding the exercise library would improve workout tracking.
There is also no option for outdoor sprints. The closest activity is treadmill running, but treadmill-specific settings don’t fit outdoor sprint workouts.
It would also be helpful to track running activities by distance or calories in addition to duration, rather than only duration and reps.

If Bevel could read the data in Healthfit, he would have access to race intervals, pace, split details, etc. This would give him a rich database

Tracking custom segments

When doing a workout with multiple different segment lengths, it would be very cool if after the workout we could see our statistics per segment rather than per km of distance as sometimes my segments are more or less then a km.
Thanks

Running interval tracking

I'm currently having to pay for Runna as well as bevel, adding the ability to schedule running sessions that have targets for distance or time etc would be a huge advantage
