See progression from multiple past workouts

Angelos Hillesheim
During a workout, pressing the progression button should display the previous 5 or so workouts, not only the last one, maybe a little list or an arrow button left and right to go through the dates inside that half screen tab

Progression button should show a history of weight/reps, not just last session
Dylan
Loving the new update, just wondering if the progression button under the set box could show not just last session’s weight and reps, but also a history of it (could be in graphical form or list form..) just would help as sometimes my previous session was a light workout if im ill or underperforming or something. Thanks

Look at progression of reps and weight of an individual workout
M
Morgan Walby
Currently for an individual exercise we can see the reps and weight for the last time we completed the exercise, and we can see total reps and weight in a timeframe (1 month, 3 month, etc). I think there should be a view of the progression of weight and reps for exercises, i.e. 60% improvement in the last month for weight added to a particular exercise as you started with 10kg bicep curls and now up to 16kg bicep curls.

In a workout be able to see your past time that you got compared to your new one so you can see actual development.

A graph so I can see my data on reps/time over time on a workout. So I can see real improvement.

Non cumulative gym progression tracking
P
Pietro Lagutaine
Currently your gym progression tracking tracks total weight of all sessions in a given time period. It would be more useful if you could track progress of a single exercise for each session. EXAMPLE: Session 1 -> bench press 10kg. Session 2 -> bench press 15kg. Progression +5kg and a graph showing the weight for the exercise over a given time! This concept can be further developed by implementing an advice of how much to increase the weight by for the next session (progressive overload)!

I would also like to see this. Especially in the Total Volume graph, which really should be called Total Workload Volume or something. I am interested in seeing if I am progressively overloading properly as my weight, sets, and reps change instead of a cumulative total of workload, which is what it currently shows. I can calculate this from this graph but it’s not as useful to see cumulative workload as that makes me do extra work to see the information I actually care about, Total Volume per Session. I’m beating a dead horse but for example, I recently came off a break so I reduced my weight significantly, but I increased my reps and sets so my volume actually increased from my previous session, which was my goal. But I have to manually subtract the plateaus to see volume per session or go into each workout and see the volume which is tedious. The Estimated 1RM and Total Reps graphs also hide this fact. I’m excited to see what you guys are up to in the 3.0 update! Hopefully this can be included even sooner for the bulk I’m running now. :)

As a strength athlete in the gym, I would like to know how and how much my strength is changing, I would like to know whether or not I have achieved more with this workout compared to the previous or the monthly average.

Show progression per workout

It would be great if I could track the progress of my different workout sessions by the name of my workout template. I understand I can go into activities and view them, but it only shows the name “strength trainer.” To actually identify what I did, I would have to scroll down to see the exercises I performed. It would be awesome if the workout name template would appear when searching for my workouts instead of just saying “strength trainer.”
