Sleep Alarm Improvements

‘Sleep required’ alarm that’s not a timer!
When using the “sleep required” option in the alarm settings, I noticed it calculates the total sleep duration needed and sets an alarm accordingly. However, if there’s a delay in falling asleep—say 20 to 25 minutes—the alarm functions more as a simple timer, not accounting for the actual time the body spends asleep. It would be beneficial to enhance this feature by integrating a mechanism that adjusts the alarm based on the actual sleep onset time, ensuring users achieve their desired sleep duration more accurately.

Maybe better alarm? Or am I missing something?

The alarm doesn’t actually wake me up, I’ve tried few options but none of them wake me up.
Apple’s alarm does, but it isn’t as intellectual as this one. Please help me if I didn’t understand something

Hi Andrey Lashkevich When you say it’s not waking you up, do you mean you’re not hearing the alarm at all, or that the vibration is not strong enough?

Leah Hmm, there was one time when I felt the vibration because I was awake but it wasn't strong enough I'd say. And sometimes I just don't hear it.

Andrey Lashkevich On your watch click alarm > ... > scroll down to Alarm haptic to see options and increase the haptic.

Change the sleep alarm quickly

Guido
If I use your shortcut to put my watch to sleep and then immediately start the sleep alarm in command, I have to do all kinds of extra actions to change the time of the alarm. Is it possible to also adjust the time of the sleep alarm in the command screen of starting the sleep alarm? That would be better than canceling first, confirming that, then changing the time and then starting.

Have a haptic alert on Apple Watch that starts X minutes before the main alarm and repeats every minute until it goes off? It’s a great way to wake up gently

I hope you can add an inquiry alarm time and mode to the shortcut, and add a link to turn off the alarm and exit sleep focus mode. This is very important to me

Smart Alarm based on recovery, not fixed time
Mirzo Khoshimov
I’d love to see a smart alarm inside Bevel Health for Apple Watch.
Most smart alarms today only let you set a fixed wake-up time (for example, 7:00 AM) and then wake you up within a 30-minute window depending on your sleep phase. That’s fine if you always go to bed at the same hour—but many people don’t.
In real life, our sleep times change daily: some nights we go to bed early, other nights much later. So instead of setting a strict wake-up time, I’d like Bevel Health to have an adaptive smart alarm that automatically triggers after you’ve reached good recovery, typically 6–8 hours after sleep onset.
When the watch detects that I’ve actually fallen asleep, the app could start tracking and wake me once I’ve fully recovered, not at a specific hour.
This would make the alarm far more natural and personalized—based on recovery, not routine.

Snooze on smart alarm
R
Rob Ellender
when I wrist flick or double pinch it turns off the alarm. It needs to default to the “snooze”. And what does “Open” even mean mean? I have two options. Open (which essentially is the snooze) and End. It doesn’t open anything so not sure why it’s named that but we need to be able to snooze without having to physically touch the Apple Watch like I do with the Apple alarm.

Sound based alarm
M
Mohamad F
Hello,
I wake up much better with sound than with my watch buzzing. Other sleep tracking apps use sound (like https://sleepcycle.com/) + gentle wake up and that makes waking up to be so easy.
Could we have something like this in Bevel?
Thank you!
