Currently, there is a title called synchronization whenever syncing is in progress, and it also pushes down the entire screen while doing so, then disappears after a few seconds. This seems very distracting to me.
Perhaps the sync indicator could be a small circular arrow spinning to the left of the profile picture on top?
And maybe just put a timestamp next to in the title bar, saying last since at xxx.
