Sync without opening the app

I want this app to sync often without having to open the app. I have bevel set up on my home screen and watch, but nothing updates unless i open the app and allow it to sync, even though the app is always open in the background. This update would allow me to have real time tracking throughout the day without continuously clicking the icon to sync the app. Frustrating.

Agreed. Or even a way to sync automatically.

Synchronization in the background

Currently, you have to open the application systematically so that it takes into account the various information in iWatch.
It would be interesting if this synchronization were done in the background.

The widgets and lock screen doesn’t refresh in background. Then what is the use of those when you need to open app to refresh and see those anyways?

I use Apple Watch 24/7, since I am a student often in classes I like to see energy and stress metrics and I would like to have the metrics always updated, I don't mind having the app always in the background, which even uses less battery than it is always opening

Sync all data once and save. Then only sync last month

App syncs all data in the selected window every time it’s opened. To avoid long syncing time I only sync one year. It would be great if the older data could be synced once and the app would remember it. The user could still re-sync old data manually in the settings if there is such requirement (for example new/changed old data).
This would allow to view longer trends and shorten overall sync time each time app is opened.

Hi,
Is it possible to have the app sync all your data in the background? Every time I open the app on my iPhone, all new data has to be synced/fetched from what I assume is Apple Health. It would be great if this could be more of a continuous flow so that we can also get certain warnings or notifications if we reach a milestone like 10,000 steps, etc. Now the app feels more stand-alone and not really integrated.
I already have “background app refresh” enabled and I also never force close the app.

I believe Apple restricts Apple Watch complications to updated once every 15 min.
