Sync without opening the app

I want this app to sync often without having to open the app. I have bevel set up on my home screen and watch, but nothing updates unless i open the app and allow it to sync, even though the app is always open in the background. This update would allow me to have real time tracking throughout the day without continuously clicking the icon to sync the app. Frustrating.

The app on the Apple Watch is very well done. However, synchronization times are very long, even on the most recent watches with the new processor.
It would be great if the app were faster at synchronizing the day's data, as it's quite frustrating to wait 15/20s each time you open the app.

The app sync every time, with what it seems to be every microinteraction which makes the app feel so slow and at points makes me want to stop using it. There is a lot of manual data entry that needs to happen (something else to improve) and I don't want to wait until everything I click and do needs to wait to sync. This is really detracting from the experience and it wasn't an issue in the past, or at least it was not noticeable.

Hi Bevel team,
I use Bevel with my Apple Watch and really like how you interpret the data — much clearer than Apple's native view.
One thing holds it back: the app only syncs when I open it, so my scores are never current at a glance. HealthKit supports background delivery (HKObserverQuery + enableBackgroundDelivery) — is that on the roadmap?
A recovery score I have to fetch manually is one I stop checking. A passive one on my home screen would actually change what I do that day.
